Bowjax MacDaddy Stopper Black

I bought this to replace the one that came with my bow. This makes my bow is quieter. Only issue was it was made for a wider diameter shaft. I just wrapped some black electrical tape and made it fit.

No real comments other than it's probably fine for most but the description and comments indicated it would fit a Hoyt and it doesn't

Replaced my factory string stop on my PSE. World of difference. Substantial reduction in felt vibration and sound. I would give it 5 stars, but there were no instructions on or in the package for installation settings (touching the string, gap of ?" etc). I found numerous posts on forums with differing opinions for set up. Through trial and error I found that the Macdaddy needed to be touching the string with slight pressure when the bow is at rest. It did not appear to have any effect on arrow flight.

Replaced my PSE slide stop with this. It makes a big difference. I then slipped my old harder rubber compound oem stopper up to the front of the bar (don't know name), between the two of them it really quieted my bow down. Added the limb shocks and it is reasonably quite. I did replace my PSE Stinger String and I am sure that helped as well.In short it slipped on, does not come off like someone said (you could just put a drop of adhesive on it if that was the case?) and does a lot towards quieting down your bow. Put it about an 1/8 from your string as instructed.

Does what it's intended to do, at an affordable price. I used it to replace the stopper that was included with my PSE Stinger X RTS, which wasn't doing a very good job with reducing noise. This helped a bit, and when combined with some cheap string silencers, all is well.

Great value and good product.

Does what it is susposed to do, but not any better than the stock one that came with the bow.
