I should qualify this review - the listing is a console table but did appear in my search results for office desk.I bought the item as an office desk for a small box room - something big enough for a MacBook but small enough to fit in a corner.The desk looks nice - although the wood is considerably lighter than in the photo so bear that in mind when buying.This isn’t a particularly sturdy desk. It flexes left and right due to the design, and on anything but a perfectly even floor it’s difficult to get it to not rock.It’s not a show stopper but it does detract from what is otherwise a nice piece of furniture.

Very nice looking console table. I use it as a side desk. As others have mentioned, it does wobble about if you are not careful. I am very happy with it though.

Assembling is simple. Will take you at most 15 mins. The wood top is solid. But, the table's legs are very wobbly. Even after putting some paper under the metal bars, it still shakes. Dont recommend as a study as it also smells. Smell is strong even after 3 months of use
