It is a great product that works really well!I’ve got 3 nodes to my 2 storie house and all areas were covered as expected with low latency.The key for a good internet connection experience is to have not only a good speed but also low latency. Linksys Velop delivers that job very efficiently.

I am 68 and was able to set the system up in about an hour, and it worked so I think it was a good thing. and after 4 months of use I have only reset one of the units one time, seems good to me

Setup was easy; download the app and follow easy instructions to add one module at a time. I use(d) one module on each of the three floors. The Wi-FI is much slower than expected and hence the Headline given. Modules could not be connected via hardwired connection (perhaps due to the fact that I have another Wi-FI as the primary (Tech support had no clue). The two biggest complaints about this product are: (1) There is no option to connect to a specific module and (2) no option to turn-off 2.4Ghz. You are at the mercy of the system for connectivity to a specific module and the speed it wants to connect. Very poor design. My iPhone always seems to connect to a far away module at 2.4ghz and ignore the module hardly 10 ft away. The system is stable and working. A lot to give up for a mesh system. Look else where. My Asus AC1900 router has better throughput throughout the house than this 3 module mesh.

Works well for disjointed sprawling home. Seems to have a hard time blocking YouTube.

The 3-pack, dual band Velop mesh wifi system has limited setting and troubleshooting function. Easy to set up as long as I don't keep the Velop box next to each other during initial setup. No matter what DNS addresses I set on the Velop website, the PC only has the wifi gateway as the DNS server. It does not allow me to change the first two octets of the DHCP address. Many times my laptop was 12ft away but the connection was only 2.4Ghz using channel# 3, 7 or 9 (which is not proper for 2.4Ghz), with speed of 144mbps. The 5GHz somehow did not work at times. There is no way to tell which laptop/house device connect to which of the 3 wifi box. Sometimes the connection was still there but no access to Internet. There is no setting to block communication to certain IP address (or address range). It allows blocking to certain website but the instruction has no sample format. I don't know whether it allows wild card name, and I have to set blocking for each PC individually. While copying from 1 PC to another within the house, the max speed was only 80mbps, and the other PC trying to get to the Internet became snail speed. Changed from 3 start to 2 stars: within 40 days, one of the 3 wifi box malfunction with no Internet connection. Too much session drop (daily) or connect without Internet. Not recommended.

My house has a lot of brick and older. This product has been great. I have great signal all throughout the house without a drop off.

One of the nodes did not work, and one of the outlets did not work neither so I had to call Linksys to rectify the situation not cool!

I finally have replaced my multiple routers and bridged routers with a single solution in my split level home.Our home now has great coverage. I have a main router with Velop, these 3, and 3 more velop nodes.There are no dead spots in our home now.

The set was easy, but once I had it up and running I found the system less reliable than the single hub wifi system I wanted to replace it with. Using the app, I found that my wifi devices were often connected to one of the hubs that was not near by and there was no way to get it to connect to the closer hub. So, the signal was often week and frequently dropped. After fiddling with it for a week, I gave up and decided to return it.

Unfortunately the title of this product would lead one to believe that it is an AC3600 rated system but in fact it is 3 X AC1200 units which does not provide an AC3600 speed system. Confusing but it explains the attractive price. Overall the product is well made and easy to install but much too slow for our needs so I returned it. Amazon's return process is excellent and efficient. Will ensure I scrutinize all details in the future but I don't think this product is described properly.
