it worked exactly as described; house ac is now working again
this worked perfectly to repair our house ac unit; plenty of online videos on how to test and inspect your ac unit to know if this capacitor is causing the issue; just make sure to take a picture of how the wires are installed to your current capacitor BEFORE removing the old one.

Upon receipt, I thought I had a defective part since it looked to me like the capacitor had a leak. I went through the amazon return process.
