Fantastic Upgrade from Beam
I upgraded from the Sonos Beam to the Sonos Arc in white, and it was absolutely worth it. The sound quality is incredible. It is fuller, richer, and more immersive, especially for movies and music. The connectivity is seamless, just like you’d expect from Sonos, and it integrated with my setup in minutes. Despite being larger than the Beam, the sleek and elegant white design makes it feel like part of the room rather than taking over.Functionality is excellent. It works perfectly with the Sonos app, voice controls, and other devices, and switching between TV audio and streaming music is effortless. Overall, it’s easy to use, looks great, and sounds amazing. If you’re considering upgrading from the Beam, I highly recommend it. You’ll notice and appreciate the difference.

Excellent Product
Bought this to replace a Sonos Beam that I had for a number of years as I now have a 55" tv and thought I'd have a change.Very easy to install into my system although I had to de-link my Sonos rears and sub before removing the beam. Then add the Arc and follow the app instructions to re-dd my Sonos surrounds and sub, all sorted. As you'd expect works well, sounds fantastic and suits the larger tv.

Sounds soo good
I have come from a 15 year old pioneer av receiver with wharfedale diamond 9.1 speakers that i thought were great. This sonos arc is a huge upgrade from those speakers in stereo. I havnt experienced dolby atmos or been able to set up true play yet but I can say from amazon resale at £500 well worth it. The product sounds great, good speach, base and spacial sound. Not as good spacial as seperate 5.1 i havnt felt that the sound is coming from behind. Maybe when i watch a dolby atmos it will do it. You get good explosions and glass breaking and it is all balenced and doesn't over power speach. Great purchase and from amazon resale it has no defects that I can see, could be brand new for what I could tell aprat from the box showing signs of being opened up before. So happy with this purchase that I am reviewing it after watching one film.

Good but expensive at full RRP
The Sonos Arc is a versatile soundbar, good for mixed use. It is a premium standalone soundbar and offers versatile performance. You can also use its Trueplay room correction feature with compatible iOS devices to optimize audio reproduction based on your room's unique acoustics. Its sound profile is a bit bright, but vocals and lead instruments are still reproduced clearly. The Arc also supports surround sound and Dolby Atmos content but its performance isn't as impressive as the full setup.

Insanely good
Just brilliant! Easy to set up and pair. Love the tuning option for mapping the room it’s used in for better overall sound optimisation. Build quality is excellent and the sound bar is huge and really heavy, looks well premium. The seller I used double boxed it so it was well protected but Sonos packaging is of a really high quality as well and protect the sound bar really well. It’s expensive but it’s really improved my film sound quality and viewing experience so think it’s worth it. The inbuilt tv speakers these days are very poor, I have a LG C2 77 inch OLED and the inbuilt speakers are terrible! Dolby digital plus blew me away. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you invest in the Arc !

Pricey, but sounds great... Might need a sub.
First off, the less good This is not cheap. Second, connectivity is not great (how much would it have hurt to add Bluetooth?) Third is an exacerbating factor of the other two, namely that I had to add an additional bit of kit (HDFury Arcana) to get it to work with my projector, as projectors don't have eARC.So why did I buy it? It reviewed as the best sounding soundbar for Dolby Atmos, and in general. So is it? I don't know, but it does sound great; even prior to fitting and calibration it sounded fantastic on my go-to test clip (opening scenes from Thor:Ragnarok) and hinted at providing immersive sound once calibration was done. Might be a little bass-light, but I'll deal with that if I need to.Would I recommend? I'd be surprised if you can't get better bang-for-buck, but it's certainly a nice bit of kit.

Old technology not fit for purpose
I bought this sound bar for my home movie system where I run a DVD player and projector from the rear of the room. Everything works well with my motorised screen and excellent picture quality. Then I try to switch on the sound bar. It has an always on system with no physical switches so you have to use the DVD remote to hook up using BLUETOOTH. Then you discover that your £600 SONOS fantastic kit has no BLUETOOTH. It wants an old fashioned HDMI cable. Who want to run a HDMI cable across the room to ruin an otherwise perfect set up? All I can say is avoid this expensive waste of space at all costs. It is old school technology and should be selling for £100 tops and it is only useful to hook up to a TV as long as the bar sits right in front. Gone for a SAMSUNG bar at half the price with all the latest tech that SONOS does not have unless you are willing to spend £1000 - seriously why would you? The sound is even better than SONOS which appears to me to be nothing but hyped up image and silly money.

If full speaker package is too much, you won’t regret!
I’ve downsized from a B&W M1 package, Denon receiver and large sub, so was not expecting to be as impressed as I am! Dialogue is crystal clear, decent width to the sound and excellent with music.I was tired of the satellite speakers taking over our living room, so there is a compromise if you don’t buy SL surrounds but not as big a miss as would have thought. For those not coming from a full surround package, this is superb for music and movies with a decent amount of bass and should satisfy.Personally, I will need the Sub Gen 3 to get back the full oomph and some extra separation but am thoroughly impressed as it is!The Sonos S2 app is particularly impressive with a decent amount of flexibility without overdoing the complexity. Was sceptical about the Sonos hype but am now sold and can’t wait to receive the Sonos Sub to complete my setup.
