Many work shirt wearer. Dickies, Wearguard, Red Cap, amd more
I got the Dark Navy.Lowest price at the time.Means value. Wow.Comfort is excellent. The Dickies and Red Cap feel like Cheese Cloth compared to the Essentials here. I will call this "E" moving forward.Fabric is very soft and comfy. Doesn't have that scratchy feel the Dickies and Red Caps do at a similar price. Construction is quite good. Some errant threads but easy to deal with.A mention in another posting is the creases. They must press these folded or something. Yes it is hard to get them all the way out without a good wash. These are color fast by the way at least new anyway. Saw dye in the wash come out like crazy, so match your colors here.Iron really nice, and close to the red cap and dickies for ease. About the same as my Hard Yakka shirts. My Aussie shirts. Still my outright favorites. That Robert Irwin shirt deal.Fit is generous as a work shirt should be. Seems to move with me well when stretching for things, sleeves are like a Dickies, a bit past my Elbows. Order XL. I am a tweener size wise.Interesting bottom button hole is horizontal versus vertical. I don't think any of my shirts do that. It is most curious but nothing negative for the shirt anyway. It has kind of a shiny look to itself. I don't really mind it, and I like it. Your mileage may vary there.I have gotten complements on it too on the looks of it on me. Kind of a break from my Khaki it vibe.I want to get this in Khaki but they were out of stock. They come in three other colors too. Brown and another blue, and I think Gray. They cost a bit more oddly. For my play and work, the E is a new favorite. I still love the Dickies and the Red Cap but I think for the Dickies and the E I look the best in them. Yes fashionista. Hardly.I recommend these fully anyone looking for a work shirt especially if Khaki is not the need now. The fit is great, seemingly good quality, and very comfy fabric. Will it last through the long haul? I think so. Time will tell. Recommended.

Excellent shirt
Quality made shirt that runs true to size. Feels great and is made of quality material. I had to wash it a few times before some of the creases came out.

heavy duty
This is a nice heavy duty work shirt. It is sized a little large and the sleeves are a bit long for my taste--they span to the elbow so I roll them a couple times but overall this shirt is well made and quite comfortable and the price is hard to beat for the quality. I would recommend.

Great quality
I bought this shirt because it was the style I was looking for to use as a sample for a project I was working on. When I opened it and tried it own, I decided to keep it for myself. Nice quality and comfort. I ended up buying another in a different color.

Cool, loose-fitting summer shirt
I'm enjoying this shirt for its dark, basic color and comfort on hot summer days.

Nice
The shirt runs small so if you are on the fence on sizes go a size bigger. It holds up pretty good.

Very heavy material
Was looking for more button down comfortable black short sleeve shirts. Wear a lot of Columbia shirts. Have a few other light weight loose fit button downs. Carry concealed a lot so needs a non-snug fat guy for. Ordered XXL for the first time. The fit was as expected. However the material is very heavy. Nothing like the lightweight shirt I was hoping for. Lots of comments about it being like a dickies work shirt so I guess that means something to people wearing dickies. It’s a stiffer, heavy material. Wish they’d said that in the description. I considered keeping it for colder weather, but I’m in Houston. I’d rather just wear an undershirt or light jacket if it gets below 60. So this is getting retuned. Seems decent for what it is, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. Not very soft or flowy. I’d imagine if Carhartt made a shirt it would be about this stiffness. Almost like soft denim. Might loosen up after a few washes but this isn’t for me.

Not as expected but still really pleased
First, don't be surprised when the folding has left creases in the shirt...when the description is wrinkle resistant, I had expected it be closer to perfect when I opened it up. That being said, once washed, I had the shirt I was expecting and didn't need to iron / steam before wearing. Also, with cotton a part of the mix, I was pleasantly surprised when the shirt did not shrink after being washed and run through the dryer.I'd say it's a little larger than I expected; considered maybe ordering a size smaller but decided stay with what I have.I'm also not sure I would use the word "soft" to describe the material although it is comfortable despite being a thicker / stronger material

Well Fitted; Well Made
The fit and finish of this garment is spot on! I'm extremely pleased with it. It runs true to size. I usually wear a 42-44. This has room to move around comfortably without feeling like you're wearing a balloon. Highly recommend.
