The product description clearly states that the frame is stainless steel. I asked for confirmation in a question, and was told it was stainless steel. It is not. It is thin and badly made aluminium alloy. Even the ruler locating bolt is alloy- that will wear out in no time. Even the scribing point is rubbish- these are normally screwed in, this is just a push fit. It is going back! What a waste of my time.
