Decades later, this design still works
Fits a standard pencil, round or hexagonal. Made in the good βol USA. Small embossed arrow shows the direction it should slide up on to the pencil from pointed end. Finger impressions are designed for kidsβ hands and fingers so itβs somewhat off for adult hands. Takes kids some getting used to, but works as intended.

Great grip!
I bought a 36 pack of stetro pencil grips from Moon products in November 2020.I used to have one of these in elementary school to encourage proper finger placement for pen/pencil holding. I loved it. I guarded it with my life. But I was a kid, and I lost it. I am now in my mid 20s, but I never forgot about it and always wanted another, and I'm so glad I found these again on Amazon!I have a problem with squeezing my pens/pencils too tightly... to the point that my fingers end up sore and deformed to the shape of the pen. This really helps because my fingers have an appropriate surface and can't slip around on the pen, so I loosen my grip. The hole is made to fit standard pencils (about 6mm). Fits the cheap thin Bic ballpoint pens, and Bic mechanical pencils (round barrel and hexagon barrel). I use Pilot G2 pens a lot, so I cut the pen's built in grip off and managed to get one of these stetro grips onto it after a lot of pushing. I also managed to push one onto my laptop's HP stylus pen.

Works!
They are really good. They have an arrow pointing down, in the direction you have to hold the pen when is on. So, when you hold it, if the arrow is down you are good. Long hole for the support finger (the middle one) and the other 2 grab the rubber. My 6 years old boy use them. My 3 years old girl looks like is not comfortable with them (little hands). An adult can use them too. I tried with my left hand, it's just ok. Not as comfortable as with the right hand, but still works. I would turn the arrow up for left handed.

Helps 5-year-old hold pencil
My Kindergartner accepts these as part of his pencil now, and holds it closer to correctly while he writes. He had been having some trouble with pencil grip and I think he's still growing into his fine motor skills. These help him practice!

Just what I wanted
These were exactly what I wanted. I used these grips when I was in school, and my son needed some help with finger placement on his pencil when he entered Kindergarten. He hated to write, but he loves writing with one of these on his pencil. They are a bit softer than the one I had as a child, and that is an improvement.

Great product.
Great product and delivered quickly. Would recommend. Both my children have autism and struggle to hold their pencils correctly. The stetro grip meres it very clear where the child needs to put their fingers to ensure correct grip
