Question, How does this hold the clip to push under the shingles? Am I missing something?

The plastic clip can be flipped around “upside down” in order for the flat piece to slide under the edge of your shingles. Thanks, happy decorating.

Are they the ones pictured that are screw in

Yes, we work directly with Dyno to offer these gutter clips online. We just updated the pictures a few weeks ago from our inventory. I can not promise what you will get from other sellers because we have had some issues with people selling other products under this listing. But if you buy from the seller Amazing Tymes then you will get the product that is pictured. They are the clip that screws onto a threaded pole. They are the original no ladder clip not the newer version called no ladder pro. Thanks for your question. Brad

How easy are these clips to remove from gutter at end of season?

Very easy to put up and take down. No need to mess with a ladder.

I’m hanging lights via pvc pole along theroofline, how wide can these clips go to securely hold a pvc pipe?1/2”; 3/4”?or is this just for open lights?

These will not hold on to a pvc pipe without sliding around it. They are made to hook on to gutters or slide under shingles. Dyno No Ladder Gutter and Shingle Clips
