Professional-Quality Self-Leveling Sealant That Makes Concrete Repairs Easy
Professional-Quality Self-Leveling Sealant That Makes Concrete Repairs Easy I've used several products for sealing concrete joints over the years, and Sikaflex continues to be one of the brands I trust. This self-leveling polyurethane sealant flows nicely into horizontal expansion joints, creating a smooth, professional-looking finish without having to spend time tooling the surface by hand. The sealant adheres well to properly prepared concrete and cures into a flexible, waterproof joint that should hold up well to changing weather conditions. I also like that it can be painted after it has fully cured, making it easier to blend repairs into the surrounding concrete if desired. Application is straightforward with a standard caulking gun, and the narrow nozzle allows for good control. Just be sure to thoroughly clean the joint before applying the sealant, as good surface preparation makes a big difference in the final result. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a self-leveling product, so it's intended for horizontal joints only. It's not suitable for vertical surfaces because it will flow before curing. Wearing disposable gloves is also a good idea since polyurethane sealants can be messy to clean off your hands. Bottom Line: This is a high-quality, professional-grade concrete joint sealant that's easy to apply, self-levels beautifully, and cures into a durable, flexible, waterproof seal. It's an excellent choice for driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, and other concrete joints, making it an easy 5-star recommendation.

Good stuff, very durable and better than the BB store prices
I have been using this product for many years. I think it is the best self leveling product on the market. I bought it this time for a long1/4in crack in my garage floor. I first blew out the crack, then inserted a pencil size, foam filler and pushed it down into the crack about 1/4-3/8in to seal the bottom of the crack. If you don't seal off the bottom of the crack or void....you will use/waste a lot of product. Fill the crack slowly keeping the material slightly proud and then be patient. It takes a couple of days to completely cure (depending on the thickness of the application). Good stuff, very durable and better than the BB store prices.

Clean the area ; sweep with a broom ; pull out any debris ; blow off with a leaf blower then , fill any deep areas with sand and or Backer Rod . The fact that this stuff is truely “ Self Leveling “ makes it a breeze to use . Use and Begin with Patience; all you have to do is hold the Caulking gun as it releases slow . Key is keep a very clean & Happy workspace ; keep a sweat cloth ; some wet paper towels and or roll of paper towels with a small bucket of water handy to immediately clean up any accidental spills . Any one out there needing extra income could make good money with this Great Product

Great concrete crack filler
Great product, seals gaps in concrete well and seems durable. Take caution not to cut tube end opening to large as sealant will continue to run out of tube even after releasing the chalking gun handle.

The Ultimate Concrete Sealant—Effortless, Durable, and Professional-Grade
If you’re looking for a sealant that combines ease of use with long-lasting performance, look no further than Sika Sikaflex Self-Leveling Sealant. This product has transformed my concrete surfaces, providing a clean, durable, and professional finish with minimal effort. Why I Love It: • Self-Leveling Magic: The true beauty of this sealant lies in its self-leveling properties. Once applied, it flows smoothly into joints, creating a flat, even surface without the need for tooling. This feature is particularly beneficial for those new to sealant applications, as it reduces the chances of uneven lines or missed spots. • Durability That Lasts: After curing, the sealant remains permanently elastic, effectively bridging gaps up to 1.5 inches wide. It’s designed to withstand the rigors of daily traffic, weather fluctuations, and the wear and tear typical of high-traffic areas like driveways and garage floors. • Quick and Easy Application: The product is a one-component polyurethane sealant, meaning no mixing is required. It’s available in both 10.1 fl. oz. and 29 fl. oz. cartridges, catering to various project sizes. The application process is straightforward—just clean the joint, apply the sealant, and let it level itself. • Paintable and Weather-Resistant: Once cured, the sealant is paintable with water-based, oil-based, or rubber-based paints, allowing it to blend seamlessly with your existing surfaces. It’s also waterproof and resistant to aging and weathering, ensuring long-term performance. Tips for Best Results: • Surface Preparation: Ensure that the joint surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, or any other contaminants. This will promote optimal adhesion and longevity of the sealant. • Use Backer Rods: For deep joints, consider using a backer rod to control the depth of the sealant and prevent excessive use. • Curing Time: Allow the sealant to cure for 3 to 5 days for full strength. During this period, avoid any traffic or disturbance to ensure the best results.

Plan Ahead
I really like this stuff. It flows and self-levels very well but that quality means some advance planning makes things go much smoother. My advice is to keep the box it came in and when you go to apply it cut off the box flaps from the side you opened and put a grocery store plastic bag in the bottom of the empty box. Also, have paper towels handy. The reason for this? Unlike caulk, when you stop pumping this stuff out and it quits flowing it still drips for a long time, even from an "empty" tube. When the tube is empty immediately point the spout up, remove the tube from the caulk gun and throw it in the box you kept. Also, when you stop pumping this stuff out it takes a while for it to stop flowing like caulk does, but even then, if you point the nozzle down it will slowly flow out of the tube. It is handy to have one of those cardboard flaps you cut off to immediately slide under the nozzle as you lift it up from the job. Get the nozzle pointed up and have a paper towel ready. Also, if you use a backer rod, make sure it is a tight fit. I had one spot where the backer rod barely touched each side and this stuff apparently flowed through a bit. I had a dip in edges in that spot as it cured. If the backer rod is not reasonably tight I suggest putting a little coarse "play sand" on the sides of the backer rod (where the backer rod curves down and meets the concrete on each side). You can ignore all that and still get a great result, but you might then spend a good while cleaning up.

Good flow and finished look
This worked well and applied easily (once I got the right size caulk gun). It leveled as claimed and still looks good after several months. I was able to fill 8 sidewalk seams that were 1-inch wide x 4 feet (32 total feet). I used a 1-inch backer rod and ti worked perfectly. Only time will tell how long it will hold up. One note of caution, a standard caulk gun is too small for these tubes. So, if you do not have the larger guns, you will need one.

Easy and neat
Just the right sealant I needed, I like the self leveling action. Just make sure you clean the gap/crack then pour it

Effortless, and neat.
This stuff is the business! The neatest expansion joints you’ll ever see, and all without any tape or tooling. It’s a bit pricey, that’s for sure. And you’ll need an American sized 29oz caulk gun, but just wow. So easy to use.

Way better then I hoped for.
This stuff was better than I thought it would be! I actually didn't use it for concrete I used it in between two layers of mahogany trim on the hull of a 12 foot fiberglass boat. Outside of the fact it took three days to cure enough to sand it is the exact result I was looking for. There were a couple places where the wood trim was damaged underneath and it leaked down the side of the hull, Where I was able to see it it cleaned up nicely with water and a rag where I didn't see it and it cured It was more difficult to remove I was able to do it with a razor blade. I havent finidhed yet to show the final result / Update The product hardened up nice and was easy to sand (didnt even clog the paper. Only issue the Epoxy Did NOT cover this product It Pooled up and cured in a sporatic patern. I would still buy again... it would be nice if I could figure out why the epoxy would not cover and fix that..

Does the job
The self leveling property works well. It remains to be seen how durable the seal will be with time.
