Recently purchased one of these directly from BHS, and returned it due to an inoperable IR illuminator... I then purchased a replacement through Amazon, only to find that it too did not have a functioning IR illuminator. I tested both units under low-light conditions pointed towards and 12" from a white wall. If the units did in fact have functioning IR illuminators, their IR emissions would surely have been detectable at such close range. There was no evidence of such IR emissions from either unit. I called an reported my finding to BHS, whose rep insisted that it did in fact have the advertised built-in IR illuminator. I then pointed out to the BHS rep that the users manual for the unit does not show or otherwise mention an IR illuminator. Bottom line... If this camera does have an IR illuminator (which I can find no evidence of, whatsoever) its worthless, as it cannot even illuminate a brightly colored wall at 1 foot away... 🙄... However, when used with the Zetta ZA22 this unit is a very effective night vision cam with excellent recording times... I'm getting 11.5 hours of recording time on a full charge with the recommended 64 GB MSD card.

What they fail to tell you before you buy is that you must subscribe to their service in order for this camera to even start working. Don't waste your money with this one. There are other cameras out there that don't require a subscription in order to function.

It's a good security camcorder, and it can record in total dark by using internal IR LED. Note that the quality is reduced a lot with IR LED recording. So, make sure you have enough light and turn IR LED off if you want quality video.It has 3 recording mode Continuous, Triggering and Custom. The user manual has detail how to setup using the software for Custom mode but none for the basic of using it and explain its features. I learn how to use it by searching on youtube, and still searching for more information. Tech support response is good but still not fully answer all the questions. I think that the company must rewrite the user manual.

Unit is capable ONCE you figure it out. Documentation is mystic, looks like a quick translate from Chinese. Also uses older FAT32 format, which Win10 doesn't support, so formatting chips is frustrating. Brickhouse needs to spend the time on a better video, and MUCH better written documentation.

1-Instructions for scheduled recording are not clear and difficult to understand.2-There is no way to know the level of the battery.3-Green LED flashed during scheduled recording so you need to cover it up.4- specs say 24 hours battery for continuous recording, I get only up to 7 hours on separate scheduled recording over a period of 72 hours.

This camera will only record for about 10 to 12 hours. Not the 24 as advertised. I've purchased three of them and I've had the same results with each camera.

This camera may have worked just fine. It was the size that made me return it, it was way to big to be hidden!

product is waaaaay to complicated to program and use. wont work with Windows10 as indicated... basic set and use directions not to be found...worked intermittently.... product use and functions needed to be redone

Gives a pretty decent picture compared to other cameras I have tried. Also, it is fairly easy to change the SD card whereas some other cameras tend to freeze when this happens.I would point out that the description of the product 'Low Light' is accurate and it will not give you a picture in darkness. Movement will still set off the sensor but unless there is some light, you cannot see anything. The User Guide that accompanys the product calls it a 'Night Vision' camera and the instructions refer to night mode but, to reiterate, it does not give you a picture without light.

great little product does exactly what it says on the box. Not difficult to set up and so far is working well
