Sturdy, absorbant, and attractive
These pads are great. Besides being effective and protective they launder well and don't look bad on the wood floor. I use them for my 5 lb. Yorkies. I'm so glad I found them!

Laundered several times, still working well
I have a terminally ill dog who has lately become incontinent when she's sleeping. My veterinarian recommended this EZwhelp brand of washable pee pads. I ordered two of the largest size for my bed. They've worked amazingly well at protecting my mattress. A good feature is that wetness doesn't pool as it would on an ordinary plastic barrier, but instead is absorbed and evaporates pretty quickly. This is very helpful in avoiding extra mess when you're removing the soiled pad for washing. I've laundered them several times already and I'm impressed with how durable and well made they are. (One is a full machine load.)I know that in the not-too-distant future, I'll be able to go back to sleeping on my all-cotton breathable mattress pad, but for now, this product has made a very difficult and painful time more bearable. I recommend it highly to anyone who has a human or animal loved one with incontinence.

This Item Is Worth So Much More Than Its Price!
For anyone who has a household that includes canine family members, especially those with two or more, this is a must-have item! Although it is technically marketed as a pad to absorb all the "messiness" of whelping a litter, I would not hesitate to recommend it to those who've never even bred a litter, nor ever will. It has such a wider range of uses from being draped over the whole back seat of a car to serving as a floor liner for an indoor puppy playpen setup to creating protective liners amongst an aging pet's favorite spots to be within the home. Any way you can think of to use it, it will absorb an incredible amount of liquid without spillage over the sides, completely protect whatever surface it is covering from contact, wet or dry, and the stains those accidents can cause, and best of all, can be reused again and again with a simple toss in the washing machine! (Side note: If it has been soiled by urine or any other accident involving bodily fluids, I always first give it a good spray down with the garden hose ASAP, then be sure it goes into the washing machine by itself, or included only with other soiled washables used for the dog(s.) Additionally, I always make sure these loads are washed including the Lysol laundry disinfectant (added during the extra rinse cycle) just to be completely safe and ensure that everything is not only clean, but also disinfected. End side note!) Anyway, I covered the absorbancy (and once again, I have to stress that you wouldn't believe just how much liquid these pads are able to absorb!!!) The machine-washable factor is also a very convenient benefit! For the really dog-crazy folks such as myself, who have a whole pack, I suggest buying two or three of these in the large size. I understand they can seem a bit costly at first, which is what I thought prior to buying my first one. However, I only had it 1-2 weeks into the welcoming of a new puppy to our home before realizing just how worth it that thing was and promptly buying another large and a third half-size! The nice thing about the availability of these in lots of various sizes is that it makes them so easy to use just about anywhere. The smaller sizes work great for crate or bed liners, up to the largest sizes capable of covering the floor of half a room (for the housebreaking sagas!) or as mentioned above, the entire back seat of a car with the floorboards included! I never need to worry about "accidents" or "upchucks" reaching the interior of my car seats when traveling with my puppy or carsick-prone pups! (In this situation, I would absolutely advise having a second clean pad folded in the trunk, as you are definitely going to want a replacement in the case an accident does happen!) Heck, I can't say I've personally tested the idea since my only kids have fur, but I can see this also working nicely as a place setting for a human baby too! The pads themselves, especially the largest ones, are quite dense, and have a good bit of weight to them, which all points to their high durability. But surprisingly enough, as tough as they are, the side of the pads that faces upward is actually quite soft to the touch, like cropped fleece. They also have just a touch of cushioning to them due to the amount of inner material (that "like magic" absorbant stuff!) so they're by all means comfortable for people too! (Trust me, by this point in crazy-puppyhood; she's 6 months; I've stood, sat, and laid on them I don't know on how many occasions! And yes, clean ones!!! Lol!) So it's pretty obvious by this point that I love these things enough that they're all through my house! Whether it's gross weather (like, NOW!) and you don't want a pack of muddy pawprints around the door when the dogs go out to potty, or you have the type of dog(s) who seem to think it's absolutely necessary to NEVER actually swallow the last mouthful of water AT the waterbowl, (needless to say, I have 2 pads in my kitchen!) or even if you have one who tends to be a messy eater, these are great for the kitchen. If you have a wonderful senior soul that has developed a minor incontinence issue (common symptom of aging unfortunately,) using these pads can help those dogs who have especially dignified personalities from feeling the shame or guilt of an accident he/she couldn't control, and if they are used to being on the couch or bed (mainly when/because YOU are there too!,) just keep a larger size pad (depending partly on the dog's size of course) to move around the house with you and your old buddy will be thrilled to find that he/she can lay beside you on the couch or on the bed once again! My own bed is one of my very favorite pieces of furniture in the house since managing to find that PERFECT (therefore expensive! Lol) mattress, and I will even trust an EZwhelp pad to protect that on the occasions I want to bond with the puppy while chilling on the bed and watching a movie, or allow one of the adult dogs the extra special treat of permission to sleep on the bed overnight (as long as it's at the foot, since fitting a husband, myself, and a German Shepherd Dog on a queen mattress is not the easiest task to pull off!) Oh! Since it seems so far away now, I almost forgot...Once the horrible icy tundra wasteland that is Winter gives way to Summer's sweet heat, these pads are great for the swimming lovers and water retriever dogs' transportation as well as a resting place to help them dry faster. (Again, another use I can see working well when applied to human children also!) Alright, clearly I covered "potential uses" in extreme detail! You'd think I was promoting these dang things (I wish!!!) but nope, frowny face for me! Lol! Seriously though, I'm trying to review more often, especially when it comes to dog-related products, since I am a dog trainer with 21 years experience and counting, and for as long as I can remember have been enthralled by all things canine, (bonus points for working German Shepherd Dogs!) Plus, I really enjoy helping people with their dogs! So, if I'm reviewing something that is a "MUST-have" for myself, I'm going to be especially enthusiastic about sharing those reasons in the hope that I might just make another dog lover's life easier! And the EZwhelp most definitely falls into that category, so there you have it. WOOF!

Best pads ever for my senior crew
I rescue senior dogs and these pads have been a game changer in my house. I now own at least a dozen of them in various sizes.Pros:- They handle daily washing and drying (regular setting) very well. I go through several a day and haven't had any issues with the laundering process affecting their shape, size, or absorbency. I do sometimes use a laundry sanitizer to conquer any strong odors from dogs with strong smelling urine.- They lie flat in the ground and don't curl, wrinkle, or bunch up like many pads do. I do put rubber backed rugs down first to give the pads some traction on my wood floors. I just make sure the pads are bigger than the rugs.- They are very absorbent and do hold quite a bit of liquid. They don't leak through the pad making them ideal not only for my floors, but covering couch cushions, dog beds, car seats, etc. as well.- They come in a lot of different sizes and shapes. I have square ones, rectangle ones, a round one, and all in different sizes to fit the areas I need.Cons:They absorb fairly quickly, but the urine does bead up for a bit before it gets absorbed. For most of my dogs, this isn't an issue. They walk away from the spot and it's all good by the time they come back to that spot. I have 1 dog though who pees and then paces where he just peed. (He does this no matter what's down on the floor or how much space he has.) That slight delay in absorption means I have to clean his feet frequently. That said, I have to do that with any other pad, too. It's just one of his old man quirks, but thought I'd mention it.Note: the pad is great at absorbing liquid and keeping it from running off the edge into the floor. However, if the dog pees on the edge of the pad (half on the pad and half off of it), there's not much the pad can do to help that. I recommend getting the right size to cover what needs to be protected. In the photo, I have a huge one on the floor where he pees frequently. (He demonstrated for you all while I'm writing this review.) I have one under the blanket on the sofa in case my older female who sleeps there has an accident. I have a round one under the blanket on the dog bed. Then there's one under the dog bed to protect the floor in case they move the round one (nesting) and have an accident on the bed. I have them between the washable covers and inserts on all of my large dogs beds in the house. Washing a cover and pad is way easier than washing a foam bed and certainly cheaper than throwing it away and buying new ones. I have them under blankets covering the dog's ottomans they sleep on. And, pretty much anywhere I need to protect something from pee accidents. Great product all around.

Amazing bedding for puppies!
On our third liter of puppies with these and they have been amazing. The are super absorbing, exceptionally stain resistant , and they wash beautifully…very durable materials. I bought extras as a gift for a fellow breeder because I enjoy them so much! Towels will bunch up and become ineffective, while these stay flat and provide good traction for puppy feet.

Listing is for large size. I received a tiny pad.
Item that arrived is no larger than a placemat. Now I have to send back to USA from Australia. Disgusting service from Amazon.

Absorbency of the reusable pee pad.
The pee pad is highly absorbent and does not have foul smell after one day use. Most importantly, it is washable and easy to dry under the sun. My dog loves the soft texture of the material as well.
