I have a Rancilio Sylvia classic and the Rocky grinder- there seems to be a little more moisture in this bean, however I like the fact it’s roasted in Scotland -not sure if the mixture of robusta and Arabic beans causes this but on a 21 g shot you get a decent espresso. I usually prefer the robusta been from Bei and Nannini.This is well priced and a few pounds cheaper than other artisan roasts

The coffee the NHS hospital , ARI, in Aberdeen is Italian Aroma coffee . It is exceptional to taste, and many coffee shops in city are envious of what they are producing.I wanted a supply of this for my house - their coffee beans to grind, and make myself a latte with my superior SMEG coffee machine - all the equipment is shown in the photo.The coffee made from this Aroma beans shown, tasted the best I have made on this machine - and a close match to that of NHS.I cannot recommend this coffee too highly.George Garden, Stonehaven, Scotland

There is no doubt about the quality of this product but it is billed as an espresso especially made for a home espresso machine, to taste like the one you get in a good café. In fact, it's nowhere as strong. It is excellent if you like your coffee long as it comes out of a French press or a mocha machine, maybe with a bit of milk, but not if you like it as a short Italian-style espresso or ristretto. You can do better with one of the big brand names on offer, and pay less

I ordered one bag of this when I ordered a stove top coffee pot as it was a recommendation underneath the pot, I loved it so much I ordered two more bags and have started a subscription, it tastes lovely and mellow and nutty, and it’s the perfect strength for me, not too week, not too strong, just how I like it

Used to drink this everyday in my local coffee shop which has sadly closed due to the pandemic. It's just as I remember, lovely and smooth, no bitterness and a nice chocolate nutty finish. Great for plain espresso or cappuccino.

The coffee itself smells and tastes good but the grind isn't fine enough for espresso. Doesn't produce any crema.
