BRECK'SPurple Butterfly Feeder - Create a haven for butterflies in your backyard!

I wanted to feed the butterflies this year so I checked my options. I read buy the purple, bees aren't attracted so I did and with nectar. The butterflies didn't use the feeder but the bees loved it. The bees were on it constantly so we took it down, cleaned it and will try again next butterfly season. I think maybe we started too late in the season?

So far, I’ve yet to see one butterfly at the feeder. It’s as if they knew I wasbuying it and decided to leave. Dumb butterflies. Maybe I’ll catch themon the way back from migration.The wicks that bring water to the top of the feeder from the outside are troublesome.They don’t bring water up well and they get very hard on the outside ends. I had toget inside the thing and play with the wicks to get anything to actually get water tothe outside.

I bought this butterfly feeder, because after I bought the yellow butterfly feeder, I found out that bees are attracted to yellow, so I was looking for another color as I have it hanging by my hummingbird feeders. Got my first butterfly (that I saw) the second day I had it hanging. I put watermelon in the fruit holders.

if you but the purple color it doesn't attract bees! Yellow is a color bees love!!!

Still No butterflies, I think it is scaring them away?
