Great for espresso dialling
Worked great for dialling my espresso shot. My only complaint is that the handle doesn't come in more colour schemes or material varieties.

Coffee comes out all over the place
I’ve changed my mind…. There coffee goes all over the place, misses the cup and makes a huge mess. I’ve cleaned it frequently and don’t think the holes are blocked.

Almost Perfect
Overall it seems to do the job, I’m no coffee connoisseur but it’s better than the standard. However, when using an official DeLonghi tamper I find it’s hard to pull the tamper back out of the basket, sometimes taking the basket out completely. I guess it’s you get what you paid for.

Reliable and Affordable Bottomless Portafilter
I've been using this bottomless portafilter for a while now after having trouble getting consistent results with the non-bottomless portafilter that came with my DeLonghi machine. While I haven't had experience with other bottomless portafilters, I can say that this one has helped me make better espresso.The build quality is good, and it feels sturdy. It fits well onto my machine and produces a nice double espresso. When comparing its price to other options on Amazon, it seems to offer good value for money.Overall, this bottomless portafilter has improved my espresso-making experience. If you're in need of a new portafilter and want something that is both reliable and affordable, I'd recommend giving this one a try.

Works well but poor build quality
Works well with my De'longhi Dedica Arte but in about two weeks my handle has a crack and the varnish is coming off

Not sure if I'm doing it right
The media could not be loaded. There are splotter coming from the side of the basket so I dont know if it is because of the basket itself or the way I tampered. Overall, I think this is an okay alternative to the stock portafilter from the machine. You can also practice on it.

Improved Flow
It is important that the portafilter is evenly loaded and tampered. When this is achieved the flow is is nice and even with little or no splutter.

Provides better tasting coffee from dedica machine
I get better tasting coffee using this portafilter and basket rather than the pressurized one provided with the Delonghi Dedica machine, however there is quite a bit of splatter and mess created when using this.
