Great little travel Neti Pot. Elegant design. Easy to hold. It comes with one jar of salt and a measuring spoon. The product package says that it contains two jars of salt but this is a discontinued item so maybe the manufacturer ran out of salt jars before they ran out of Neti Pots.About this discontinued item: I called the manufacturer when I received the item as I felt uneasy about using it since it only seemed to be available from one Amazon seller and on Ebay and because it only had that one jar of salt. I thought something funny was going on with this thing: maybe the plastic was poisonous-- something funny like that. The customer service rep at Apothecary Products (the manufacturer) said they had new owners who discontinued several items that didn't sell at a level that met their expectations. I won't blame that on the product. I'll blame that on poor marketing.If you read this, Apothecary Products, please put this Neti Pot back on the production line! (Don't throw away the molds.)--KEW

The fatal flaw in this otherwise good, basic neti pot is the narrow tip of its spout--much narrower than any other neti pot I've used. In order to create a seal with your nostril, you end up inserting the spout so far into your nose that it can easily scrape against the delicate interior tissue. It might actually do more harm than good.

I too felt at first that the nozzle tip was small and hurt the delicate membrane/cartilage in the nose. So I improvised as follows:1. I got a Hose pipe connector made of soft plastic (the kind that enables you to connect a hose pipe to a tap).2. This connector slips easily over the spout of the neti pot.3. Additionally I got a small, spherical plastic bottle cap - one end fits over the tip of the above mentioned connector. Through the other spherical end of the cap I drilled a 4 mm hole.4. The dilute salt solution flows through the hard plastic nozzle, then through the soft plastic connector and then through the 4 mm hole in the spherical cap and then through your nostril.5. With this arrangement the spherical cap forms a leak proof joint with the nostril and doesn't even enter the same and so your nose is protected from injury.6. In India the hose connector is available at a hardware store (Phirol make or other) and the spherical bottle cap would need to be looked for in shops that sell varieties of plastic bottles possibly used for oils for religious purposes.7. I have been using this setup for around 8 months and have had no problems.
