A Sweet Story Showcasing Unconditional Parental Love
God Loves You, Little Peanut is a delightful story showcasing the unconditional love from God and parents for their children. It is told in rhyming verse, and features lots of adorable animal families that have been anthropomorphised. It shows them throughout the day doing things like baking cookies, watching the clouds, playing in the park and snuggling. The story is told in rhyme that flows well and has great cadence. It opens with welcoming the new babe and continues on as the young one grows. You're new to the world, but already I seeWhat a blessing you are - what a blessing you'll be.The illustrations are beautiful, colourful and full of love. The animals are adorable and the actions are wonderfully depicted. Children will recognize the feelings shown and identify with them. This is a great book for a baby shower or early baby birthday. I read this to my 4 year old granddaughter and she enjoyed it. We talked about the illustrations and what was happening. We read it a couple of times before she was ready to move onto a new story. I was gifted a copy of this book upon request. The rating and opinions shared are my own.

a wonderful book
When I got this book I opened it and was so delighted with the illustrations. They are well drawn and engaging. The story itself made me go back to when my mom would say "I love a bushel, a peck and a hug around the neck" or other times when my grandma would say she loved me and called me her pet names. It's a wonderful book that's easy to read and will delight both parents and children. It's meant to showcase love not to teach children about various other things. It's main purpose I feel is for children to know they are loved. End of story. For that I found it to be a wonderful book.
