Providing of course it's pointed in the right direction and angle. However, you might have to be a little creative in keeping the device out of the image shoot. It's in a concentrated stream, so can push further than a traditional fan can. And the noise is less annoying than a traditional fan, as there as no large blades to create any chop in the air. Have just bought a second to replace a 18 inch floor fan, as it moves more air and faster, and can apparently be daisy chained or stacked to/with the first unit.
