Terry Butterfly Cromoly Gel Bike Saddle - Bicycle Seat for Women - Flexible & Comfortable - Dura-Tek Cover

This saddle was purchased to replace what came with my new tri bike. Having ridden previously on the Terry Liberator, I knew this brand with it’s unique cutaway center was the way to go and it seems better so far. I expect to say the same once my rides exceed A few hours. Great product for any cyclist, novice to competitor.

The seat is an excellent quality seat. However, it did not work for me comfort wise. I had a Terry seat on my bike that was 10 years old. I had never had problems with it until a couple of months ago. I started having sit bone discomfort, so ordered the newer version of the same seat. I assumed I was due for a new seat after many miles and years of riding. Rode with it a few times and it was clearly not comfortable. So, I had a professional bike fit at a local bike shop. The Terry seat was too wide for me so I bought another seat. I'm still not satisfied and I am continuing my quest for comfort. I think that Terry makes excellent quality products, and gave it 4 stars because it did not work for me. It's like running shoes - not every pair works for every runner.

Bught this seat cause the one I had was hurting my female parts a lot. Terry gave me three recommendation. Glad I choose this one. I have rode both on the road and some gravel bummpy trails and NO PAINS. Thank you Terry

I was previously using an Ergon saddle that was supposed to be designed for comfort and performance, but it was anything but. I would have to stand up a few times towards the end of short (6 mile) rides in order to relieve the pain and pressure I'd feel in my sit bones. I decided to try this Terry saddle after reading numerous positive reviews, and it's been great. I no longer have pain during or after rides. Granted, I do fairly short recreational rides (max. distance of around 18 mi. so far), but I've ridden it on gravel and dirt (semi-mountain biking) as well as road riding, and it's been very comfortable for all my rides. I highly recommend it.

After adjusting the seat position to fit my body, the ride was definitely better than when I was using the stock seat that came with my bike. Usually when I ride any distance I have swollen seat bones. Even just sitting on the old seat hurt. We went on a longer ride recently, and I had no discomfort at all. No discomfort during the ride or after. Finally, no swelling and no pain! I'm very pleased with this brand. I definitely recommend this seat, and would purchase this again.

I really like this saddle! I have a Kona Sutra touring bike and this saddle works perfectly for the slightly more up right position and is perfectly positioned under my sit bones. I have very boney sit bones so long distances can be painful with the wrong saddle. This one is perfect!

I like to do cycling tourism, 4 or more days cycling 50 kms/day at leisure pace, and regularly cycle this distance during the weekends to be fit for the trips. I was also trying to break the saddle that came with my new TREK 27'5 and was having a hard time... finally decide to buy the Terry saddle and I am very pleased with it. It is very comfortable and I am not sore anymore, at least for my use (no competitions!). My advice is to test and make small adjustments on the inclination until you find the perfect fit for your body.

This seat is so comfy. I highly recommend. It’s a really quality seat for a good price.

My wife had issues with tenderness after a short time in the saddle, but after switching to the Terry Butterfly she has had less issues especially on longer rides. For female specific saddles, these seem to be outstanding. It is not a race saddle, so there are better options for weight savings, but a good choice for casual riders and weekend warriors.
