This one is a real challenge. Beautiful puzzle, nice size pieces that fit together nice and snug. My husband and I live in Northern Wisconsin and do a lot of puzzles to keep us busy in the Winter. A thousand piece usually takes us 5 days with us taking turns for a couple hours a day. This one took 8 days! We started at the top and worked out to the trees and down past the bears then were lucky to get a few pieces an hour. It got to the point where we would cheer when we did get one. Had trouble will we were down to the last 15 or 20 pieces. The colors on the sides and bottom are hard to see and we went mostly by shapes. That being said, It is beautiful and we have it framed and hanging in our North Woods Family room.

Pictures do not do this puzzle justice! It is absolutely gorgeous! Bought it for my parents for Christmas it was challenging but not impossible. And they absolutely love it!

It took me and my husband a while to do this puzzle. It's challenging but such a beautiful picture. It was a great puzzle to put together with two of us.

We have a puzzle going on the kitchen table at all times. We just cover it with a tablecloth when we need to use the table, then uncover to work on the puzzle some more. We got this one about 1/4 put together but never finished. One of my cats (don't know which one--good thing for him) decided to pee all over it. If that had happened to any other puzzle, I would have purchased it again and started over. However, we were not enjoying this one very much so decided to just trash it and move on to another. The puzzle pieces are just too big, and that also makes the puzzle too big. It barely fit on the table -- one tiny nudge and an entire side would fall off onto the floor. Make sure to check the completed size to make sure it will fit where you normally work on a puzzle. Also, we just didn't like the large pieces. I really wish this puzzle came in a "standard" puzzle piece/completed size; if so, I would do it again in a heartbeat, as the picture is adorable. But this isn't my cup of tea.

Gift. She loved it.

A gift for my (soon to be 79 year old) mother. She loved this puzzle. It was difficult, taking her a little under 3 weeks by herself. She is going to mod podge it and display in her home in Northern Minnesota. Every piece was included. I had told her about the comments here about missing pieces and she said she never got a brand-new puzzle that had pieces missing out of the box.

Difficult Puzzle!! I wouldn't consider myself a pro but I buy 2-5 puzzles a year and this is the hardest I have done. My second Suns Out puzzle, I liked the first so much I bought another one. Quality of the pieces is the best I have found. Pieces fit great, the unique shapes keep it interesting but don't lend much help, and very rarely do you find yourself asking your friend "do you think this is a match, it's so close"!Pay attention to the size of the puzzle, the pieces are big and the completed puzzle footprint is bigger than any table in my house.

I received a suns out 1000 piece puzzle for a gift and absolutely loved it. The pieces were oddly shaped and it was a ton of fun to put together. I sought out a another puzzle specifically by SunsOut with the same number pieces hoping for the same experience. I was very disappointed when it arrived and the box said large pieces. This is not listed in the description and I would have chosen a different puzzle if it was. This puzzle does not have fun shapes and the pieces are too large. I wish this was highlighted in the description
