First Responder Water Helmet - Large/XL - Red

It only lacked few stripes of marine loop to attach a strobe and name tag and this was ready to go. Overall look and feel is very good. Finish and reflectors are very good. The NVG mount is standard size but is probably best used only for a light or a camera as it is riveted into the helmet with two of the holes overlapping helmet venting. So it has three attachment points but they are not as widely spaced as they would be on a ballistic helmet. It can't be removed or replaced and I cannot tell what is under the padding as far as the rivet or perhaps bolt size, so I will keep it pretty lightweight. Take a bit more fiddly to get the chin right as compared to my Team Wendy. Padding is good, venting is good, rinses out easily. I have a 23.5 inch head so fit is a bit hard for me put this fit me well except I am more of and oval than a circle. So when it's tensioned it feels pretty good, but when I press in against the side rails it feels great. No way to fix that, but if you are "long oval" cowboy hat then this is going to bind you a bit on the front and back. All things considered, you cannot beat the features for the price.

For the large / X-Large. The size could be smidge bigger . But the quality is great.
