Poly and Bark Organic Arm Chair, Red (Set of 2)

I purchased four orange chairs to complement a 60" round table (west elm) for my dining room and five months later I'm really happy with this purchase. When you come into our home you immediately see the dining room to the right. The vibrant orange is modern and fun. People always ask where I found the cool chairs and they are shocked when the learn they're Poly and Bark and were purchased on Amazon. They look much higher end, have a trendy mid-century modern design and pair well with furniture from popular retailers. The chairs are comfortable for both kids and adults. Younger kids can easily climb into chair and because of the sturdy fabric there's no sliding out for a quick get-away. A group of teens casually lounged in the chairs for a Sunday morning brunch after a sleep over and even a 13 year-old boy commented on the comfort. Spills: Yep, within 48 hours we had our first apple juice spill and we've also had our fair share of spaghetti sauce splatters. The spills have cleaned up easily with a sponge and paper towel and there has been no residual staining. Caveat: the legs do become a bit loose after a couple days. So, I put a dot of krazy glue on the threads and I haven't had a problem since. Great chairs, affordable and functional. These will really brighten up your home!

I loved the look of these chairs, but the price made me suspicious. Reading the reviews led me to purchase 2pr of these chairs, and I could not be happier! They arrived quickly in 2 separate shipments, well-packaged and in perfect condition. They were, as others have stated, super-simple to put together; about 60sec/chair. I was impressed by the quality of the manufacturing, right down to how it look on the underside of the chair; no wrinkled fabric or ragged edges where the legs meet the metal attachment. If they put that kind of attention to something you don't see, I trust the rest. They are SO comfortable to sit in, especially during that part of the meal when everyone sits back and talks. No one wants to get up! So... Beautiful fabric, easy set-up, comfortable, AND a killer deal price-wise. You will be hard pressed to find anything of this quality for the same or lower price anywhere. PS other reviewers remarked that the chairs can be "wobbly". One chair of the 4 had one leg that seemed shorter and made the chair rock just a bit. I added one of the little felt pads made for protecting floors to the end of the leg, and problem gone. If you like the look, you will love the feel!

We have had a pair of the grey version of this chair for several years and they have held up remarkably well despite the relentless assault by our twin toddlers with every food and drink combination conceivable by modern chemistry. The fabric is very durable and retains color well. The legs are strong and the entire chair feels sturdy. It's a comfortable chair and can be used for dining or general use as accent chairs. The color is true to the picture and consistent overall. If you love mid-century like we do, these are a great fit for your decor without breaking the budget and they'll last a long time. The only con I have is the legs tend to unscrew slightly over time, but this is easily remedied with a dab of liquid nails on the retaining rings underneath the chair seat. Overall a great-looking durable chair with an eye-catching mid-century design. I would definitely recommend.

For the price, you cannot beat these chairs! My only issue, is one share by many who have bought these chairs, the legs become lose from the base quite easily. I am sure there is a solution for this minor issue; I will post something if I figure one out. They are comfortable, well built, and have some minor imperfections in the padding and seams in the back of the chairs. I can live with these and again, these chairs are a bargain!

I'm so happy with this purchase!! These chairs are great quality and so very beautiful! The color is rich and vibrant. They came packaged pretty well, a few pieces of white threading loose here and there but nothing a lint remover or a quick brush off can't fix. VERY EASY TO ASSEMBLE. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble both chairs. The only thing that needs to be done is to have the legs attached. They're super comfy and very sturdy. Don't hesitate to buy!

This chair is awesome. Comfortable, Nice material. My only complaint is it is a bit hip hugging. I am 5'6" 190 lbs. If I was any bigger this chair would not fit the hips. The material is very nice. Love the cheerful style in orange. I put felt protectors on the bottom of the legs. Take care before screwing the legs in. Check the grooves for any little debris because any little bits will cause a problem getting the legs on. Make sure the silver rings that come with are facing the right direction when you put the legs on. All this will make a difference in the legs staying put. I think there were a few reviews saying legs were difficult. I have not had a problem with the legs because I paid extra attention when assembling the legs due to the other reviews about the legs.

I have had my eye on these for awhile now and price dropped a bit more to make it real right for a set of two. Very happy all around with purchase. Arrived fast, great quality, very comfortable and easy, breezy to assemble. (I did have one leg that won't screw in completely but will have the man in my life check it out. It needs one more half turn to be in solid). The chairs are sturdy but light-weight. I very happy with the 'honey' stain on the legs too. These 2015 mid-century chairs pair well with my 1960's Pulaski table. Will definitely order more soon.

Well packed, so easy to assemble! The chairs look great and are very comfortable. I didn't consider the armrests but they actually make the chairs even more comfortable! We got six of these for our dining table. I got four more of a different color (gray) but they were not as fast as the red ones when I ordered, so I only post the picture of the red ones here. My dining table isn't here yet either lol... but based on the dimensions, seems like the chairs can go under my table (I was concerned about the armrests but apparently there shouldn't be any problem). Overall, so happy with this item, highly recommended!

The 2-star review is not due to the quality and look of the chair. Rather, it's the poor customer support. Chairs are beautiful. Love them. They are solidly built too...complete metal structure under chair to provide solid support, and leg screws into this with good 1/2" thread. No issue on how solidly they are built. But, for us, it's a deal breaker because there is NO SUPPORT FROM POLY AND BARK FOR CANADA. One of our chairs had issue with a leg not threading properly. Yes, it sucks, but these things happen. The key is how the company deals with it that makes the difference. Poly and Bark was going to send us new part until they realized we were located in Canada. Customer rep says we have no means of international shipping. What the heck? This is Canada...not overseas. What if I need a new part down the road? I suppose as a Canadian, I am S-O-L. Ultimately, only option was to do full return to Amazon, which is a real hassle given one of us would have to wait for shipper to pick up.....lost time from work. Amazon ended up providing a discount, but that will only partially cover the cost of having a machine shop repair the issue. So, if you are Canadian and thinking of Poly and Bark product, consider the risk of not having the level of customer service support with replacement products that one would normally expect with a global economy.
