I would like to just clarify for anyone wondering (because I myself got a little confused) this oil is a great product and smells amazing but because it is an essential oil that is not diluted, you must do so before using it for something like applying to your hair and scalp. I use just 2 drops with about a teaspoon of coconut oil or jojoba oil and let it sit for 30 minutes, doing this twice a week at most. Really improved the quality of my hair, feels revitalised and super healthy. Do not use this product alone on your scalp, please dilute. :)

Snatched this for my diffuser—just to freshen up the flat and give things a minty boost. The bottle’s a solid amber glass with a dropper, so it feels high-quality and keeps the scent intact. The aroma is crisp and minty, but subtle—not like candy or play‑doh. It disperses nicely, leaving the room feeling clean rather than overly fragrant. That said, a few users noted inconsistency in batch scent—some batches smelled a little off, even chemical—which raises one eyebrow.

This is an excellent product for using as an insect repellent. I've been using it for over a year, two or three drops mixed in with a basic unscented moisturer, and haven't been bitten at all! It smells quite strongly when you first apply it but the smell dissipates within a few minutes once it's applied. I also use it mixed with water to prevent any fleas coming into the house and I'm about to use the same mixture on my plants to deter slugs and snails! So much more effective that environmentally damaging pesticides. The bottle has lasted over a year and I'm shortly going to buy another bottle. I also like that it's in a glass bottle. Quite honestly one of the best things I've ever bought.

Love these essential oils and have several fragrances. Don't need more than a few drops and the room smells lovely. Comes with a dropper.

I don’t recommend putting it on your skin!!! Gave me a really bad rash. It smells okay pretty faint smell tho. Won’t be buying again

Love this essential oil and use it in our oil burner regularly. The aroma is lovely and lingers. So much better than plug in perfume providers.

As a qualified aromatherapist for over 30 years I am very familiar with Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) essential oil. As a natural product there is always variation between harvest, country of origin, etc., but Patchouli essential oil is consistently a thick oil (often requiring gentle warming to drop out of the bottle), deep yellow or orange in colour with a rich, earthy, musky scent. It is an amazing base oil. The Mayjam description of this oil states it is pure, undiluted Pogostemon cablin essential oil, amber or dark orange in colour. The only listed ingredient in the description and on the box is "Patchouli". The oil I received was thin (like water), virtually colourless and completely unsuitable for the intended purpose. It may be a hydrolat, but is most definitely not pure undiluted essential oil. When I purchased this item I was aware it was significantly cheaper than other brands on Amazon but I was in desperate need of it the following day and decided to take a punt on an unfamiliar to me brand. My mistake! I am returning my opened bottle in the hope of a refund. I cannot use this oil in my aromatherapy practice and would not even use it in a diffuser.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Duftöl! Der Rosenduft ist wunderbar sinnlich und gleichzeitig angenehm dezent. Ich verwende es hauptsächlich in meinem Schlafzimmer, und schon zwei bis drei Tropfen genügen, um den ganzen Raum tagelang in einen herrlichen Duft zu hüllen. Besonders gefällt mir, dass der Duft nicht aufdringlich, zu schwer oder künstlich ist. Trotz meiner Empfindlichkeit gegenüber intensiven Gerüchen bekomme ich keinerlei Kopfschmerzen – im Gegenteil, es ist ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, in diesem sanften Rosenduft einzuschlafen. Der Duft wirkt sehr natürlich und authentisch, was mir als große Rosenliebhaberin besonders wichtig ist. Die Damascener Rose kommt dabei richtig schön zur Geltung und verleiht dem Ganzen eine edle, harmonische und luxuriöse Note. Ich kann dieses Duftöl auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
