Nice size
Just perfect for my carbon sonic wing. Compact but works great. Best when riding a tri bike. Attaches nicely to the sonic nut inflation holder.

What you see is not what you get
BEWARE - The picture of the unit on the site is not what you get. This product is misrepresented and the picture/needs to be updated. The picture of the nanonflater is in my opinion a better unit then the one that is shipped. It has less moving parts making it more reliable and less prone to failure. I can only assume this is a different style of nanoflator or a newer model and works differently.

Not what was pictured
What is pictured is akin to the SRAM Mini, which is why I bought it. I lost my SRAM Mini somewhere and XLab is a name that I definitely trust (own a few of their zippered top tube bags and Tri accessories). However, what I received was NOT what was pictured. What I got was smaller and lighter, which is nice, but compared to the SRAM Mini it's a bit of a pain in the ass to use. You really have to work for it to get it to pierce the seal on the cartridge, but once you manage that it's just like any other.I'm used to normal chucks with no spinny moving parts and such. With this one, you have to consider the positioning of the collar and I have no idea what that even does; it spins independently of the threaded insert and it seems like it's doing something that I'm not sure of. Packaging instructions didn't even refer to this part. If you follow the instructions you might have to fiddle with it a bit before you figure it out. I still can't quite explain how I managed to get it to work, but I did.3-26-14 update: glad I bought two. I practiced on the one I use on my road bike. Got the hang of it and have used it several times in practice, several times on a ride. The other one is on my MTB, and it failed on its first use. Had the cartridge pierced and as I was getting ready to attach it to the presta valve, and all the CO2 came rushing out before I backed off the collar. When I got home, I tried spinning another cartridge on and the instant it pierced, it all came rushing out no matter how tight I spun it on. This is, of course, with the middle collar tightened firmly and completely. Its just a dud; it held up for about 10 seconds before failing completely. Could be used in a pinch if I attached it to the valve first before piercing the cartridge, but it simply has no flow control. All on, all the time.

It does not work very well
While light, don't try to depend on it. Get something more reliable and easier to operate. This one is too flimsy in practice.

Needed it!
Fits perfectly on the Sonic Nut Inflation Holder (of course). Worked really well when I needed it to. Easy to use.
