Casabella Sink Sider Kitchen Soap Pump and Sponge Caddy, White/Gray

Had it for the past 2 months and it had been working really well dispensing soap. It's all hard plastic and feels quite sturdy and still look decent. Now my kitchen counter looks cleaner without the giant bottle of detergent and the sponge sitting everywhere. The sponge holder has a remove-able rubber part for easy cleaning which I am surprised to find and it is well thought out. There's complaint in other review about strong chemical smell but if there is (which I don't remember there being any when I was unpackaging the product), it does disappear over time. Oh yeah, it does come with the red sponge that is shown in the product picture.

I have had this dispenser since 2014 and absolutely love it. I fill it with a somewhat thick dish soap (undiluted) and pumping it with my left hand whilst holding the sponge in my right (I am right handed) I get a sufficient amount of soap on the sponge to do the job without it squirting all over me. It is neat and definitely complements my kitchen. I have had no problems with the sponge holder not having any holes in it as it is my custom to wash out the sponge as best I can at the end of each washing. I so love this dispenser that I have reordered four of these over a period of time to give as gifts from my trip when I return home to the Caribbean. The price is just great and Amazon always delivers on time and in perfect condition.

The description on this thing specifically says it won't spray out sideways and get all over you but the first time (and many times after) that's exactly what happened. It's made very poorly and cheaply and the end faces straight out so if you press it a little too hard you got a shot of liquid all over you and look like you Jenna Jameson after a shoot. I already bought it so I left it in place because I'm too busy to run around dropping boxes off to be returned and it was cheap enough and this kept happening for another few week until it completely broke all together. This is very low quality so I'm back to find a better one but figured I would help others with a review so they don't make the mistake I did.

This soap dispenser and sponge holder is great. I am very happy with the quality and price. The sponge holder will pretty much fit any standard sized sponge. I liked how this holder/dispenser came with a sponge. The dispenser works well. I personally use it for lotion instead of soap because my sink has a built-in soap dispenser already. I highly recommend this sponge holder/soap dispenser.

I originally bought this exact same item at a local store over 10 years ago. It gave our family great service the whole time but it was kind of beat-up looking and time to retire it. I was happy to find the exact same item on Amazon so I purchased it. After getting the new unit, comparing the two side by side they looked identical, so I tossed the old one out. After a few weeks the head unit/pumping mechanism of the new one came off. I could not get it back on again correctly to pump dish soap out of it (and I am a very skilled handyman). It is now useless: too bad my old one was long gone, so I couldn't scavenge parts from it. Edit: I am changing this review because Amazon replaced this item free of charge. I have been using it for a few weeks with no problems, so we will see how it goes. If it doesn't hold up, I will report back.

While this is very useful to have along side your sink, my major complaint is that the sponge compartment does not breath at all. You would think that they would have left the holes you see in the picture open so that the sponge could air out and breath after you use it, but nope. That compartment is fully encased. This also means that water accumulates on the bottom of where the sponge sits, and if you don't empty it and clean it from time to time it can get nasty. With that said, the soap dispenser is great, and overall I like the look of this product. It is well made, and does it's job. I just wish the sponge compartment were better thought out.

I have been very pleased with this dispenser. I started to replace my broken dispenser with a more expensive ceramic brand that I had used in the past, but decided to try something new instead after reading the many positive reviews. This dispenser looks great...not cheap looking at all. It is very easy to clean and sediment from the sponge holder washes away effortlessly. It is durable but lightweight so that it is very easy to move around when I am wiping up around the sink area. I would most definitely purchase this dispenser again.

For $10, it does its job. Yes the sponge holder does not have a drain but should it? I don't know about you folks but I generally squeeze my sponge dry after every wash so there's little water for bacteria to accumulate. If you want a hole, it's plastic so use a knife or a drill to poke some holes in it. Not sure what all the comments are about it shooting the soap out. It does dispense a little soap at a time so you may need a few pumps to get the amount you may want but I don't see how this would be an issue since it doesn't really require much to push down on the pump.

It may not be the most glam soap holder, but it does not leak, and it does not fall over, so I'm more than happy with it!

Buen producto me encantó le dio un buen toque a mi fregador. El recipiente para el jabon es pequeño no esperen uno grande. El recipiente para la esponja es tamaño estándar para las medidas de las esponjas normales para lavar traste. El único pero que le pondría es que el fondo gris donde va la esponja no se puede sacar de la base blanca o por lo menos no lo pude hacer creo esto podría ayudar a la limpieza de esa base. Envío rápido lo recibí a los 5 días de hacer mi pedido con envío gratis. Y viene con su esponja rosa como se ve en la foto.
