RCBS Accessory Base Plate-3, Grey, 10"x6"x1"

I really like this for mounting the press to the bench. I can also quickly remove the press and bench from bench if I want to use the bench for other uses.

This is a nice mount for RCBS equipment. I have a press and powder measure stand on it. Very solid. Well made.

So this plate is exactly what they advertise. It is solid and seems to be adaptable for multiple mountings. I only plan to use it for my press. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the spacing of the mounting holes for my RCBS press being centered at the outside edge of the mounting slots on the press. I had to acquire some oversized washers to be able to mount it without the bolts slipping off the top (bending) of the base as I tightened them. This is a minor inconvieniance. I’m happy with it otherwise.

Pro: Extremely easy to mount. All screws, bolts and washers were in the box. I was able to mount my rock chucker press to the plate with the bolts provided and not having to drill holes completely though my work bench is a huge plus. The real test will be how well it supports the press when I have resizing my .270 casings. As of right now I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Worth having to mount press to table. Like that it can be used to mount different things.

I intended to just drill the work table in my garage to mount the loading press. However, the table is 3/4 plywood on top of a 4x4 fence post frame. Too much of a pain to drill and reach under to temporarily mount and dismount my equipment. This plate allows very easy mounting of my reloading while freeing the table at other times. One word of advice: Mount your press to the plate and square it up to the edge of the table. The edge of the plate should be set back about 1/2 inch from the edge of the table I noticed that if you place the plate too close to the edge your press may have a gap between the press and the front edge of the table. This may allow some of the orangutan operators to rip off the plate from the table top if they over torque the press handle and the screws in the back of the plate (only of them) strip out of a weak table surface such as particle board or thin plywood.

Ottima soluzione per fissare la pressa al banco da lavoro in maniera pulita. Forse un po’ cara, ma per me indispensabile.

Fit well on the work bench. Arrive on time and in good condition.

Works perfectly and makes swapping presses fast and secure on my small bench.
