Sometimes I use this as my primary flipline other times I use a steel core one. This worked very well in certain situations.

As an amateur radio hobbyist, I often find myself at the top of my towers or those of friends who are either not comfortable at heights or of those who are physically unable to climb. I recently attempted to climb a large tapered, freestanding tower that belonged to a friend. I couldn't find a positioning lanyard in my arsenal that would accommodate positioning at the various heights that would permit relaxed positioning. I found that I kept pulling myself against the tower, and was quickly fatigued. The Eagle River 34406 adjustable lanyard is really suited for situations like this. Adjusting is easy. Just reach over and grab the release as you cinch up and let out with the other hand. It makes works very easy.

I did not want to pay this much for a piece of rope. But it was worth it.
