Easy to use, effective, well priced
First off I will say I am a retired registered nurse who has done a good number of ear irrigations over the years. I found this kit to be easy to use and effective for ear wax removal. I was surprised by all the pieces of equipment it contained and the reasonable price. I would caution that anyone with a damaged eardrum, tubes in their ears, infection or other ear problems should check with their doctor before using it. I also would be cautious about using the metal instrument in this kit as they could cause some serious damage in unskilled hands. There are several methods for ear irrigation, but the one that I use is to obtain a bottle of generic ear wax removal oil, warm the bottle of oil by placing it in a dish of warm water for a few minutes (cold ear drops can sometimes cause nausea and dizziness). I put approximately 3 drops of the warmed oil into the ear and place a piece of cotton into the ear canal so the oil doesnโt run out, then I repeat the procedure for the other ear. I wait at least an hour (or longer if there is severe wax build up) so the warmed oil has a chance to soften the ear wax somewhat. Then I remove the cotton balls, pull the earlobe to straighten the ear canal somewhat and use a pen light or flash light to look into the ear canal to see where and how much blockage there is so Iโll know if the irrigation later is actually breaking up the ear wax. I fill the irrigation spray bottle with warm (not hot) tap water and use the flexible tube with tip and round splash guard. Use of the flexible tube tip requires two hands, one to hold and spray the bottle and one to hold the tip in the ear canal, but a person doing the irrigation on themself might find the solid rod type tip easier to use since you donโt need to hold the tip in the ear canal with a separate hand. I have my subject hold the cup under the ear, place a towel over the shoulder to catch any drips, and pump the spray bottle multiple times. It is important not to totally block the ear canal with the spray nozzle as the used water and wax needs to have a path to flow out of the ear canal as fresh water enters. It usually takes a number of pumps, but usually there will be small pieces of ear wax flowing into the cup. It probably will not be the main ear wax plug, however. I take a pen light or flash light and look in the ear and can usually tell if I am making progress. Then I just continue irrigating the ear canal and checking it periodically until it appears clean and unblocked which can take quite a bit of irrigating. Sometimes a large part of the ear wax plug remains intact and just moves closer to the entrance of the ear canal and can be easily seen. The fluid stream from the spray bottle isnโt always strong enough to wash it out. Thatโs when I find one of the metal instruments like the ear spoon may be helpful to carefully remove the plug if itโs lodged near the entry to the ear canal. If you have gone through the whole cleaning procedure and feel you havenโt been successful, it may be helpful to repeat the the ear wax oil instillation/cotton balls part and leave it in overnight, then try the irrigation again the next day. If that still doesnโt work, it is likely time to see a medical professional for some help. This is just the method I have found useful, but there are other methods using different irrigation solutions and different techniques. Bottom line, I would recommend this kit. It is easy to use, I found it effective in removing significant ear wax blockages, and I thought it was well priced.

Complete Ear Cleaning Kit That Works Well (Just Takes a Little Practice)
I picked up the Tilcare ear wax removal tool because I wanted something more effective than cotton swabs, and overall itโs been a pretty solid at-home solution. What stands out right away is that itโs a full kit, not just a single tool. You get a spray bottle, basin, syringe, and small cleaning tools, which makes it feel more like a complete system rather than a quick fix. Once you get the hang of it, the irrigation system works well. It helps flush out buildup gently, and Iโve noticed a difference compared to just using drops or basic cleaners. It feels more thorough without being overly harsh when used properly. That said, thereโs definitely a learning curve. The first time using it can feel a bit awkward, and youโll want to follow the instructions carefully (especially with water temperature and pressure). After a couple of uses, it becomes much easier and more comfortable. The build quality is decentโnothing fancy, but everything feels functional and holds up with normal use. The disposable tips are also a nice touch for hygiene. One thing to keep in mind is that this isnโt something you want to rush. Taking your time makes a big difference in how effective and comfortable it is. Overall, this is a practical and effective kit if you want a more thorough at-home ear cleaning option. It takes a little practice, but once you get used to it, it does the job well and feels like a worthwhile upgrade from basic methods.

Works Like MDs Office, Maybe a Bit Too Many Parts.
Works like the ones at the MDs office at less cost. Comes with many tips. I'll know more about durability over time but that shouldn't be a problem seeing that the spray bottle is like many other types and when these go bad it's usually the spring in the spray head. As for the drain dish, that can be a take it or leave it, especially if the sprayer is used over the sink. I say the same for the metal wax removal probes and the towel. Most would probably get away best with just the spray bottle, the multiple replacement tips, hard tube in place of the flex hose, and the bulb syringe. The other things are there if you want them.

Recommend
Works perfectly. Just like elephant ear but more reasonable price. Bottle is small for the amount of water needed on stubborn impacted wax, but I swapped it out with a full size bottle from Walmart with no issues. Just make sure the replacement bottle comes with the tip that screws on. The smaller size would be fine for normal ear maintenance. The utensils are decent size tips, not too big or too small. Unfortunately the handle length is very short. Large hands would probably have trouble using them.

Will work if used correctly
This product works as described the only issue that I have with it is the little tube that goes inside the ear is not quite long enough it needs to be just a little bit longer to actually get down inside of the ear canal I can do the same thing with a normal saline syringe

Almost Instant Relief!
If I could give this a thousand stars I would! Had stopped up ears for about a week. Then woke up one morning and experienced about six hours of vertigo, followed by not even being able to hear at all out of one ear and barely any in the other. Went to urgent care the next day and they did the irrigation but said I should go see an ENT and have the soft wax that had gathered over my eardrums suctioned out! The next day, used wax softening drops and tried bulb irrigation with slight improvement. I also ordered this kit and it came today. My partner did the irrigation part and within 30 minutes, all the wax started moving up to the top where I could get it out. Instant relief. Canceling that ENT appointment!

I LOVE IT!!
I have a problem with ear wax build up, to the point I have to get my doctor to flush them at every visit. I found this and it has been a life changer. I can do it myself, at home, anytime I feel the need. It's so easy and convenient. If you have issues with ear wax, I highly recommend getting one of these for yourself. You won't regret it!

It works
It does the job, cleans out the ear just fine. Takes a little getting used to to hold it and use by your self. I donโt replace the tips every time since Iโm the only one using it, but the tips will blow out of the tube after awhile.

The best money Iโve ever spent!
My ear has been blocked for a whole week, I suffer from waxy ears anyway but manages to get some swimming pool water stuck in there too. This just arrived and I tore open the box in great excitement, set it all up (I just used plain lukewarm tap water) and pumped a few times. I cannot believe the amount that just came out of my ear!!! I feel like I can hear in 5D! Honestly this was incredibly cheap and effective, Iโm blown away! Best money Iโve ever spent. So easy to use and gentle. Cannot recommend enough!
