If you buy this item, then you are already the type of person who takes meticulous care of your vehicle. This item presents a logical organization of all car maintenance such as oil changes, repairs, tire mileage, trip mileage (for business/tax purposes), etc. Document everything (even oil changes)!! There is even a convenient gas-mileage calculator in the back. The autolog stores conveniently in your glove compartment so it is not necessary to stuff paper records of auto receipts in your glove box. When it came time to trade in my car, I submitted my autolog to document the car's complete maintenance. The detailed records (dates, mileages, repairs, new tires, oil, etc.) provided excellent leverage for me to gain the maximum trade-in value for my car. The dealership even commented that no other customer had ever provided such a complete record on any vehicle before. Incidentally, they were able to re-sell that vehicle very quickly. I have since purchased this autolog for our new car and recommend anyone to do the same.

We have used this Auto Mileage record book since we got our first cars back in 1977. What a great asset for knowing when you changed the oil, filter, wipers or put on new tires or even had maintenance on your vehicle. We use the trip diary all the time when we take our road trips so record the times and miles traveled. It's a good resource when we want to look back and see how long a certain trip took and make plans for future trips. These last about 6 years so we were surprised when the cost was now $22 for one book when we used to buy them for less than $10!

What can be said? It is a small notebook you use to keep information about your car. I have used this At-A-Glance book in all of my cars for many, many years. Works great. Hold together. Has enough pages for all I need. Own my own business so I have to record every time I buy gas, all repairs, etc.

The best record keeping book and design for your vehicle, both if you use it for a business or personal. It holds a lot of information, and easy to use. While it is expensive up front, it pays for itself as everything is layed out very well

I drive for business and have been using these record books for years. It's superior to any such mileage record book I've seen. Could not find in office store so, as usual, found on Amazon. The book is compact with room for tons of information. I'm very compulsive in recording gasoline, mileage, miles per gallon, octane, cost and location of service station. All of the columns are there. Sections for oil and lube, repairs, tire replacement - all with perfectly adequate columns for as much detail as you want to record. Plenty of pages for recording miles driven with columns for work or personal use. (I only record work miles.) It has everything I want with plenty of pages (lasts for years) in a compact book that easily fits in side pocket of car. Well made. Leatherette cover.

The "At-A-Glance Auto Record" book is the best and only brand I've used for all my vehicles for the last 30+ years It's easy to use, sturdy and the perfect size for my driver's door side pocket. It's my go to book to record and recall all my mileage, repairs, costs and the shops who did the work (all at my fingertips). It's a great time saver too from looking up those receipts each time I need any of my car info. The "Tire" tab section is also very handy. Whenever I get a new car or purchase new tires, I record my tire info: mileage, tire size, brand, cost, etc... This book was definitely helpful when I got a flat and when calculating how many miles I got from certain brand tires when buying a new set. I love this little book! The "At A Glance" brand is "easy to use" & the "perfect size"...well worth the price!

Was disappointed that this record book has been discontinued by the maker.

I had been looking to replace my Auto Log and luckily found an exact replica.

This book is essentially the same as the book I purchased this to replace. I used the prior book over several cars and 30 years. It is a convenient glove-compartment size, and stands up well. I am glad I found essentially the same thing as what worked for me before.

I got this for a friend and it was just what he wanted.
