Great tool
The only reason I do not give this 5/5 is because they send with it this rubber foam handle cover, and it is ridiculously hard to get on. Really i don’t think it’s necessary to have. But if you send it, it’s a part of it. If your using this and intend on using the grommets that come with it outside, that’s a bad idea. The press will work great but the grommets won’t hold up. The grommets are perfect for anything with indoor use though. Great sturdy tool in my opinion. Definitely glad I bought it! Saves so much time trying to hammer it the old way.

Works very good with the included size adapters.

Good
Good tool but the grommets that come with it are very cheap. But other than that the actual tool is good and sturdy

Bad Product doesn't work.
only works with their own grommets, you cannot buy others that fit, and will not work for regular uses such as cosplay/sewing/anything you need a grommet setter for. And the grommets it comes with are so low quality they break and are sharp around the edges. worthless for anything.

It saves me a great deal of time!
I make busy blankets, sometime called fidget quilts. Think of a large placemat sized piece of fabric with items on it: a zipper to zip up and down, a button to un-button and button, a fabric pocket with a hook-and-loop closure which can be opened and keys on a ribbon removed; a strip of “fur” which can be petted/stroked to help bring memories of Fido or Fluffy, a string of large, colorful acrylic beads to "worry", and something to lace up - like how you would lace up your sneakers. I make these busy blankets for residents of our local memory care facility. I had been making ribbon loops - which takes too much time. Then I found a kit that I could install grommets by hammering them. Evidently, I'm not strong enough to have made that work. Then I saw an on-line video which recommended that I get one of these grommet hand presses if I'm going to be doing "production" work - which I am. Right now I'm using the 1/2" sized grommets. I take a little metal circle and place it over the space where I want a hole. I take a ball point pen and draw a line inside the circle. That's the size I want my hole to be. Sharp snips make the holes, I insert the larger piece with the "throat"- or whatever it's called - on the machine, slip the right side of the fabric face down over the "throat", put the little metal circle on top and bring the handle down. I don't even have to stand up and put some oomph into the effort. The fixing of one grommet is the work of less than a minute. And, when I'm putting 6-8 grommets into a single busy blanket, time adds up. As soon as I've used all of the ½” grommets I’ll start using the 3/8” grommets. The shoe laces I’m using will fit that size too. My ONLY complaint is that this company doesn’t sell refills of its grommets. Yet. I did ask the question about what other grommets could be used with this QWORK hand press and was advised that any would do. Well, I’ve tried using the ½” grommets from the original kit I bought and the press doesn’t make them work. I’m thinking it’s because the grommets might be stainless steel and of a stronger metal or it’s because of me. I’ll try again when I’m about to run out of the 3/8” grommets. The thing is, if I want to buy grommets in bulk then a tool is usually for sale, too - buy this tool and get a pile of grommets!. All I want are more grommets! I already have this tool and it makes my work so easy. It’s worth every dime. I don’t need another one.

Works as intended.
Machining if hole in arm handle is too close to the edge in my opinion. However, the metal it is made of is heavy duty. So I suspect that it will won't wear out in my lifetime. I did receive an instruction page in my box. It took 5 minutes to assemble. I tested it out. This will suit my needs well. (Binding papers). If I were needing grommets that had to stand up to the weather, I would buy stainless steel grommets. The grommets that come in the package appear to be aluminum. Magnetic dies would be a bonus. update: I was surprised how difficult this was to work with........paper. Downgraded due to difficulty of use. I had to punch holes in the paper first in sets of 10 sets (because it can;t handle more than 10...nor is the grommet tall enough to handle more than 10 sheets.) Maneuvering to hold the paper down while attaching the top fastener while keeping the papers from shifting while lowering the lever was tedious. 14 grommets done 48 more to be done.

Works well
I have separately bought rivet dies but haven’t tried these yet. The grommet ones work well with the included dies.

Adds eyelets easily
This press has removed the rough edges and mess that the old manual process caused. The dies to cut the holes is clean and works the way it should. The dies that press the eyelets together is sooo much simpler that trying to do a good job with a hammer and the tools. Smooth edges, clean look...everything that wasn't there prior to using this. I mounted it to a board for stability. I can't say it is a fault, because the press works really well, but if you need to set an eyelet in further than 2-4 inches, you'll need to get creative or use the old manual handheld tools. I do not regret purchasing this.
