Light, Tough, and Built to Last
This cookware set is seriously impressive. I’ve used it multiple times now over open flames, and it still looks almost brand new, no black burn marks, no weird discoloration. The titanium is top-quality and lives up to the hype: ultra-lightweight, durable, and easy to clean, even after direct heat. What really stands out is the premium feel. It’s clearly well-crafted, and everything fits together nicely in a compact setup. The weight is almost nothing in my pack, which is a huge deal when backpacking long distances. You barely notice it’s there until you need it. It heats evenly, cools down quickly after cooking, and is just the right size for solo trips or two people. I love that this isn’t just another “nice to have” camping item that is something I’ll use for life. Honestly, it feels like one of those rare investments that pays for itself over time.

SnowPeak 900 titanium
Awesome product, very well made. Just the right size and ultralight weight for overnighter (maybe two or three). These are lighter than most of my Chinese-made titanium rated pots and lids. The colour is lighter too, close to alloy shade. Performance wise the heat transfer is almost immediate. Don’t place on lit stove unless you have water or oil in it as the inside can get burnt easily. I made the silly mistake thinking the snow cold air would take longer time. The mesh however looks flimsy and way too big. The 900 size pot has enough space to put in a well capped gas cannister. Once lid is one it forms an airtight container so just be mindful that any gas that escape may be retained in the container. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend it highly.

Value for Your Money - Titanium Backpacking Cook Set
I love this Titanium Backpacking Cook Set and highly recommend for one person who wants an Ultra Light cook set. It is small enough to boil water quickly. Excellent value for the money and fits nicely in my backpacking pack. I have used the lid as a plate and the pan as a large cup. Highly recommend. My son who is Scout has used this many times on scout Backpacking trips.

Amazing pot, but weird flavor with some foods, especially coffee.
Its a well made cup. It s thin and light and heats up water noticably faster than steel. I LOVE the lid. The whole product is very sturdy. Only problem is the titanium really changes the flavor of many foods, especially coffee. It makes coffee taste really weird. I havent decided for sure, but I might be going back to a steel cup for that reason. I would like to try a titanium cup that is polished on the inside. That seemed take a flavor difference with the toaks titanium long handle spoon, which seems to have no flavor at all. The pot is a perfect height and it fits perfectly on a standard nalgene bottle. The pot would be perfect if it weren't for the flavor with coffee and some other things. It works great for heating water for Mountain House meals. It doesn't seem to affect the flavor of those at all. Edit: I have been using the cup for quite a while now and I don't really notice any of the flavor anymore. I don't know what was causing this, but it seems to only be a problem when it is new. It is now one of my favorite pieces of equipment, because it is so versitile and so light. I have it in a Condor H2O case with a pocket and I have a fire starter and the lid in the pocket. A Nalgeen bottle is nested in the cup. If I needed to go ultra light, I could just pull this pocket off of my gear and leave with that and a knife. This is the best canteen cup I have ever seen.

This pot does it all, very well.
I used a different titanium pot until recently, due to unexpected abuse (I slipped and tumbled off the trail, down into a ditch, and landed upside down on top of my backpack - the pot was inside the backpack) the pot became dented, badly, beyond repair or use. The dented pot was a less expensive, thin-walled titanium pot. I read that the Snow Peak Trek 700 is made of a thicker titanium material. This Trek 700 pot is much sturdier, and is still very, VERY LIGHTWEIGHT. A better quality pot compared to my previous, dented pot. It heats quickly, and retains heat a bit better than the previous pot. It will take more cooking use to evaluate, but burnt food (ramen, egg) seems less prone to stick to this pot, so far. The pot lid is also quality titanium, does not snap-fit on the pot, yet remains planted on the pot while cooking. The lid has a drain hole, for draining off pasta, and a sturdy side-loop lid handle. The pot handles fold flat for packing, and open to provide a very sturdy grip for the pot. The handles do get hot while cooking (pot holder recommended). When packing up, the Trek 700 holds my ISO butane canister and stove burner under the lid, with a little extra space left inside for packing small items. The 700 ml capacity makes it large enough for boiling water, cooking pasta and ramen, plus just the right diameter for comfortably drinking coffee or tea (as a mug) without spilling. Pouring hot water from this pot into a cup, or to rehydrate a trail meal, is easy to do. I plan to cover the lid handle with something non-snaggy to protect the mesh carry bag from getting snagged or ripped.

does what it does, and well.
well built. good material. fits my fuel, stove, scraper, scour pad and a small bottle of soap inside with a little room to spare. comes with a mesh bag for storage. the lid is kind of loose when you're storing it, so i have to use a couple heavy rubber bands to keep it in place. the pot is big enough to cook rice and beans for 4, with room left to stir comfortably. lid will do scrambled eggs ok when used as a fry pan, but be ready when you put in on the heat cause it heats up...FAST. these aren't designed to be 5 star cookware...they're designed to hold up to the rigors of camp and the trail. of course some food is going to stick to the bottom from time to time depending on what type of heat source you're using, whether or not you have any cooking oil available, and how much culinary finesse you possess. Lid seems to heat up faster than the pot, but the pot seems to cook a little more evenly. boiled 3 cups of cold water in 3 minutes with a litemax burner. used it on several camping trips so far for food and beverage, and I have to say, great piece of gear.

Excellent Design. Functional and ergonomic.
I was assembling a Bug Out Bag(Emergency 72 hour Bag) for my family. I have 2 young kids so in 2 Teton Backpacks, we have to fit in all of our emergency supplies. For cooking, I initially had a camping stove, a small cooking pot for boiling water, 4 plates, a small frying pan, utensils for 4 and 4 cups. This was too heavy and too bulky. Instead of using that space for those, I would prefer to bring more water since that is more important for survival. Now, if you open my bag, you will see a Trek 1400. Nested inside that is the Trek 900, a Solo Stove and 4 small sporks. I was able to cut the weight and size down to less than 1/4. So I loaded my backpacks with a gallon of water instead. These are my thoughts: Pros: 1. The Lid of the Trek 1400 and 900 can be used as Plates and frying pans. 2. The Solo Stove seems to be purpose built for this. A perfect fit for the 900. If you don't have a Solo Stove, get one! You will never need to bring any fuel. I burn twigs, leaves, grass or wood. 3. Made in Japan so the fit and finish of this is excellent. 4. The Pot can be used as a cooking pot, a cup, an eating bowl, a bathing scoop, and coffee mug. 5. Extremely light. Barely know it is there. 6. Extremely inexpensive for what you get. 7. You can boil your drinking water here very quickly. Cons: 1. It is not a full sized cooking pot, but then again this a camping and survival tool. Summary: Excellent camping and survival gear. Get one. Better yet get this and the Trek 1400.

Snow Peak Quality!
I was thrilled upon receiving the snow peak trek combo set. This is a really nice cookset that costs a little. But with the cost it is well worth what I paid. I believe this set is a good buy, as it will last a lifetime. So here’s to nature filled sunrises and days of satisfying fresh breezes flora and fauna. Get this set and get outside and enjoy nature with a little bit of comfort. Have your warm meal and a satisfying hot coffee or cocoa t go with it.

Lightweight and well designed product
Works great with my new iso stove! The lid doubles as a strainer and speeds up boiling. 100g iso canisters fit inside with the stove, and the net holds everything together. After using it on a full day XC ski trip, I’ll definitely keep it in my day pack!
