IT WORKS! Best product I have found!
Finally, a product that delivers what it promises! I had ants find my coffee cup on my desk, and they were everywhere... As the days warm up, more and more scouts were found in various locations in the house. so, OFF TO WAR! Ants are necessary, but the Argentine ants are insidious! Enter, Advion... I took discarded bottle caps, and put a TINY amount in each, like a 1/4" dot. Not even 1/8tsp. These were dropped near any ant sighting. They LOVE the stuff, and devoured it within hours. MANY many of their Ants and Uncles showed up to carry this bait back. The result? 3-5 days later? NOTHING... Not a single ant. The trick here is to give up a space to them, let them have it... Sure... come eat these yummies! You win! We will retreat! Little did they know, our devilish plan! One tube is MORE than enough for a massive war, easily won. The quantity required is tiny, just a bit here and there. When they devour a bait site, I just drop more in... until they don't return. The gel does dry up, so replenishing smaller amounts regularly seems to be the way to go, but honestly, for me it was fire and forget! Super easy to use, gel stays where you put it. Just keep it from pets. (behind the furniture, or on a counter top... take your pick. I've battled the Agentine's for decades, and this is just a game changer.

Fast Results
I saw some of the reviews and I do get it. You can buy a single tube for nearly half the price. You spend nearly double and if you have prime it comes overnight compared to the longer wait when I looked at other stores. While the price for 4 does show that you save money, some may still just want one. As for me, I love this product. I bought a home and freaked out when I saw ants appear overnight. I clean and bleach my floors but it didn’t stop them from in. I was going to with a pest control, but a friend told me about this product since he works in construction. It took 2 days for me to see 0 ants. As the images show they will swarm the gel on the first day. The second day, I found another spot where there was a crack in the frame that let them in. I applied it there and as of today no ants. I will admit that I did put down the little black traps as well, but like I said, I was freaking out and I wanted them gone. This product worked a miracle and I don’t see any ants. The ones that went into the black box were dead all around the box area. The ones that are the gel bait, I never saw them. It was a true way of no mess since the gel application was easy and I didn’t have to sweep up the dead ones. You don’t need a lot of gel, a little goes a long way, and the spot where I accidentally did a glob, that is still there but you don’t need to glob it. Apply the tip that comes with it and it works wonders with little to no mess. I could not smell anything compared to the plant based and other sprays. I’m glad I have extra so I know I can make it through the summer and possibly a few more years if need be (hopefully not).

This stuff is incredible for odorous house ants.
I've had problems with odorous house ants for an extremely long time, pretty much every Spring there's an ant invasion in my kitchen and bathroom despite many attempts to keep them out with caulk and extensive cleaning. I had such a big problem with these ants that at one time, they were in almost every room of my house and I was considering calling an exterminator, but then I saw people on a forum recommending Advion. I've tried sprays, natural repellants, diatomaceous earth and a huge array of other baits [gels, pastes and granules, including homemade with Borax] over the years and NONE of those have worked as well as Advion Ant Bait. Terro bait gel was attractive to the ants, they swarmed it almost immediately, but it killed the worker ants too quickly before they could transport it back to the colony and get the queen. Raid and Raid Max Force baits worked decently, but within a week or so the ants would be right back on my countertops. With Advion, I placed a few beads of the bait gel anywhere I saw the ants congregating, next to their 'lines', and they discovered it almost immediately and called their friends to join in. Seriously, the ants love this stuff, you put a little bit of it down where they can find it and they'll be swarming it in numbers that are almost intimidating and scary. I would place a few beads of it where I saw ants gathering and within five to ten minutes there were dozens, after an hour, hundreds. In a few cases, perhaps even a thousand or more within hours. The ant activity would continue sometimes for days, and often I would need to reapply the bait and give them some more, or sometimes the bait would dry out [usually after a couple of days, so not too quickly] but I would just keep adding more until the ants were gone. Within about four or five days, there may have been a handful of stragglers walking around, but no major ant activity and they have stayed gone for over six months at this point. No more waking up to find a line of ants marching across my floor on their perilous journey to the garbage can, no more trying to cook with annoying and bothersome ants wandering around on the counter or stove, no more ant buddies while I'm taking a shower, no more ants crawling around on my desk while I'm trying to work. I would absolutely recommend this product, it really is the "silver bullet" for my ant problem. It comes in a secure tube, doesn't leak and it's very easy to apply and it will stick where you apply it, even if you have to put it near ceilings or near wall trim, as I often do. If you have a big ant problem, you may need multiple tubes, order more than you think you might need because you may be surprised by the true number of ants. It seems to retain moisture for a while, a couple of days at least, making it easy for the ants to take back to their colony. Basically, if you have an ant problem, stop wasting time with other baits or solutions and use Advion, ants love this stuff and it absolutely gets rid of them.

It Absolutely Works!
This stuff absolutely works! People who leave bad reviews are not using it correctly. It will absolutely wipe out entire colonies. Here is the plain truth about Advion Ant and how to use it. Bottom line: use sparingly and apply fresh every 12 hours until the colonies are dead. The stuff can dry out and the ants will be less interested with the sticky goo that it becomes, so a fresh application morning & evening will keep them coming for more. First, get rid of their other food source – crumbs, open bags of food, etc. Do not use Raid or insta-kill sprays (but you can use it on the stragglers once the colony is dead), Raid blocks their entry point with poison, and they will simply find a new way in or stay in the walls preparing for the next attack. Next, prepare yourself mentally to be okay with the swarming and just let it be. If they are near your bed or in a bedroom try to find some other place to sleep. These little pests will swarm like crazy on the Advion! Argentine Ants: for these little flea-sized ants, you can wipe out their colony or a sub colony in less than 24 hours, depending on size. The trick is to find their entry point, follow their “trail” back to the wall or window where they’re coming in. Then simply place tiny dots, tiny dabs of the Advion along their trail. We’re talking 40 to 50 little dabs of the stuff. Don’t go insane and use the whole tube, because for a small colony you should only need about 1/8th or 1/16th of a tube, if that. The ants are small and will instantly start swarming to each dot; they will also eat/transport the stuff quickly. Do it in the afternoon/evening and then check it in the morning. If they are still trailing then simply repeat the process and put down some new dots/dabs of poison along their trail. Keep applying fresh poison every 12 hours until the trailing ants are gone. Pavement Ants: these guys take longer to kill because their colonies can be in the millions, and they are much bigger than the Argentine Ants and can travel further. We had a colony with over 1 million invade our living room last winter, and it took 3.5 weeks to kill them all, but we eventually did! Here’s the trick: same as above, find their entry point but instead of putting small dots, put longer “strings” of poison. Pavement Ants are bigger, and so they’ll need more space to swarm the poison puddles. They can also carry more to the hive, and traverse more distance, so they take longer to feed and longer to transport the poison to their hives. Place the strings or strands of Advion along their trail and watch them swarm. You should use about 1/8th of a tube every 12 hours since (as I said above) after 12 hours the strings/strands will dry out and be less appealing to the ants. It takes patience and consistency to kill them all. Even when you think they’re dead, keep applying fresh strings/strands for a few days just to be sure. Sometimes these guys can come out in waves or “shifts” and trick you into thinking they’re all dead when they’re actually not. Good luck!

Effective and sticky
This is an excellent product and does draw a lot of ants, with the idea that some will die and others take bait back to the nest. It is best to place it in out-of-the-way spots close to where ants are coming from because it goes on as a sticky and exposed blob...and it's clear. You wouldn't want to accidentally step on it or set an object on it.

Much more effective than the little bait packs that come in tubes
UPDATE: 48 hours later the ants are gone. Works GREAT. ——— Skip the little gel packs of bait and go right to this stuff. Ants ignored the Advion gel bait packs placed around my kitchen because I don’t think they could smell it or get in there, and they did not seem to make any difference even after a couple weeks now. However I used this gel yesterday and now I am finally seeing results and a drastic reduction in ants in 24 hours. It’s not sticky and it’s easy to apply. Wipes away easily too so I’m a fan of how it doesn’t stick to everything. Works well and I think it’s worth it if you have an ant problem that you’re not solving with the traditional or DIY methods. It’s also good to switch up what ant bait/ant poison you use every so often so even if you’re faithful to the Terro baits, they can get used to that over time and don’t knock this until you try it. This gel is also supposed to kill them more strategically and slowly allowing them to take the poison back to the colony (Terro kills directly but works too fast for them to carry it back). I’d recommend this gel over the little Advion gel packs 100%, because I had no results with those and they’re still sitting around my kitchen untouched by the ants. On the other hand this gel in the tube applied across cracks and baseboards seems to be making a difference faster. This is the one you want to try if you’re not messing around and don’t want to waste any more time controlling your ants. 🐜
