Our daughter, aged 38, has suffered with GERD and LPR for many years. She has a small hiatus hernia.She does take regular PPI's and has, with the help of her specialist, managed to reduce those to a lower level.Previously she has had surgery twice on her vocal chords due to damage from LPR.We bought this support pillow to try and help her. And it has been WONDERFUL.It is firm and not soft, that could be an issue for some..? But she assures me that it is supportive and needs to be firm.It does not overlap her husband when he is in bed and yet is large enough for her to feel supported through the night.It has caused her no discomfort and has in fact improved her sleep as she no longer feel the burn of acid that was still an issue for her at times during the night.She has now been using this for over one month, every night, and her voice has improved a great deal.Overall this is a great value for money support pillow, with cover that can be removed for a gently wash, and has made a very great difference for our daughter.Well worth the cost.I do hope this has been helpful and the very best wishes to you and your own needs for purchasing.

prompt delivery. pillow very firm and hard. tried sleeping on it but uncomfortable as it is. put abed pillow on top a bit more comfort but not still right for me. put under mattress to raise bed up and used bed pillow. works better for me. have not had acid reflex since using it this way at night. perfect for what i wanted it for. has also relieved a lot of my back pain at night.

It is very hard which is perfect to put under your mattress to prop it up, also a great substitute for a liberator pillow (IYKYK)

Not bad, very firm, smaller than advertised. What was delivered was not the same one from the pictures as there was no purple label on the side. A bit disappointed, but you get what you pay for...

Bought to support back whilst breastfeeding on a recline. Other reviews mentioned it is firm, which it is but was exactly what I wanted for my back. Slight chemical smell when removing from packet - think this has more or less disappeared after airing it out.

To hard & to high I kept slipping down it. & smelled horrible for weeks.

I could never get comfortable ... I had never heard of these before... I have stomach acid issues and a knee complication... ordered 2 and slept decently for 1st time in a while... also ordered Bedzonline Memory Foam Mattress, Double for the second time... amazingly comfortable <3

Bought this wedge pillow for use when I get an acid reflux attack but found it to be firmer than anticipated so was unable to sleep with it. It does however make a great difference for sitting upright in bed.
