Piano Works (Piano solo) (Paperback)

Some of the pieces do not work solely for piano i.e. Childhood 2, Sunrise and Hidden which need the electronic effects as on the CD. The best and simplest piano pieces are In My Own Words, Heatmiser 2, Leaving Paris, Theme from Orphans, 1st Waltz, Satine's Theme, Laura's Theme, Morning Breaks, Glasgow Love Theme and Angelina. The other six of the nineteen pieces need more technical ability. For a collection not bad to get half of the pieces playable in a short time and then some needing more time. Overall probably for an intermediate player.

This book is full of really pretty piano pieces, many of which you will recognise from the films. I would also recommend buying the CD.

Great book with accurate transcriptions. This guy is the real deal, highly underrated. Started composing music to scooby doo episodes at his granny's flat in Glasgow - went on to produce these masterpieces. Get it!

I bought this as a gift, and it barely got looked at. Probably a poor choice on my part, but the pieces are very simple, very short and fairly dull.
