Directions from Blue Ox were very vague. Didn’t really help me at all. I watched two different videos and was able complete the job. Should only take about 45 to 1 hour to do. Longest time is routing the wire and zip tying it under the car.

This is a high quality, easy to install, much appreciated wiring solution for connecting a Honda CR-V's brake, turn, and tail lights to ready it for towing behind a motorhome. Connect this in-line (snap, snap) in the car's wiring harness and you're done. The price is high, but alternatives require cutting up tail lights and installing additional bulbs, or adding magnetic mount lights that have no reasonable location to put them on the rear of an SUV crossover vehicle. Spend the money and save yourself headaches. Be aware that the instructions include installation steps for many different models of this lighting harness. Be sure to cross-reference the model number of your harness with the model number in the instructions and all will be well. Some of these have grounding wires and some don't, apparently. It took me a minute to figure out that the first page of the instructions did not apply to my model and that no grounding wire was needed. Page two cleared that up, and installation took only minutes.

It was necessary to complete the ability to flat tow our CRV. Works.
