First up, like every YoLink product it feels solid and well built. I paired it in seconds, and plugged it in, and was up and running straight away. You can remotely control it from your phone, turn it on or off manually, or set schedules, or use a countdown timer as well. The scheduling is really cool because once you program the schedule from the phone, the schedule is stored on the actual smart plug. That means even if there's no internet connection, your schedules will continue to run. That's really nice for peace of mind. Secondly, the chances of this losing internet are pretty low. Unlike my other smart plugs that are hit or miss picking up a WiFi signal, this YoLink smart plug uses LoRa like all their other devices. That means great range, far exceeding that of WiFi. Unless you live in a Beverly Hills sized mansion your YoLink devices will have a strong signal and work reliably. But it's not just a smart outlet, it's an energy monitor too! **Q: Can my baby use this product a lot?**
A: If by "my baby" you mean your significant other, for example, "baby, turn on the smart plug using Alexa or the convenient YoLink app, my hands are full" then, sure! 
But if you mean "baby" as in "infant" we can not encourage that. At least wait until they are old enough to learn about electrical safety. 

This reminds me of the time when I was a small child and I attempted to unlock a 120V receptacle with a key. It was enlightening.

**Q: Can this be used to send an alert if power is lost to the appliance plugged in, or to the outlet its plugged into?**
A: I looked at Alexa routines and under Smart Homes the leak sensors are there but NOT my plug. I then looked at IFTTT to see if there is more capability there - there is not. 

Interesting problem though.

IFTTT has the ability for Smart things to be alerted when smart devices are switched on/off/No longer detected.

This would be a feature request, although if you lost power, how would the alert be sent?

I bought this so that I would know when the dehumidifier under my house is running and it works very well to do that. It did lose connection with the hub, which is absolutely necessary, so don’t forget to buy the hub also, and I had to crawl under the house to reset it. The next time that happened I figured I could just turn the breaker to that receptacle on and off, and it worked perfectly. That was a few weeks ago, and it hasn’t lost connection since, even after several power failures. I also purchased the hygrometers so that I would know what the temperature and humidity is under the house, and also inside my camper refrigerator in the back yard.
