HYSTERICAL
If you have issues with anything four-lettered, you might not want to watch it. Smart comedy, well written. Saw this on HBO first and my husband & I laughed until we cried. So glad we could buy and have to watch whenever. Have watched some of his other DVDs as well, just as funny. Good comedic talent!

Love Russell
Russell Peters is a great comedian. His stories about growing up are hilarious. His interaction with the audience shows his comic genius since none of it is scripted.

Not his best...
Maybe it's because of the UK crowd and a remark about wanting to have a reaction if they are enjoying the show - he said a previous show didn't seem like it went well until he read the reviews. This particular show wasn't a favorite of mine when compared to the others available on Amazon Prime.

Hilarious
Russell Peters delivers again. Just like South Park, no one is safe! His impressions are hilarious and based on personal experience. You also end up learning a bit about different cultures along the way ironically.

I read the poor reviews and still bought it but wish I hadn't
I *love* Russell Peter's comedy, but this was just lackluster. I read the poor reviews and still bought it but wish I hadn't. Most of it was just him playing with the audience and wasting a lot of time trying to hear people's responses. Lots of recycled bits too. The only new stuff was at the very end, and by that I mean the last minute or so. You can easily pass this up and know you haven't missed anything.

A new show; the hilarity continues
The show is hilarious, as is all of his stuff I've ever seen. A few of the jokes were semi-recycled, but only someone who watches his other DVDs as much as I do might know that. (I often put them on as background noise as I do chores.) And they weren't completely the same, so it worked out ok. The venue was huge, which gave an interesting perspective to the show, and Russell still tried to incorporate those in the audience who were further out than immediately in front of him. This review isn't all that helpful, but honestly, I was laughing the whole time, and I have nothing bad to say about the show. Isn't that compliment enough? :)

Russell Peters is an international ROCK Star Comedian of our Time!
My whole family loves his style. So down to earth. He works the audience beautifully. Things couldn't have been so perfectly set with this group of people. The chemistry was perfect. Sometimes I have to have a Russell Peters fix and watch it all over again. My kids and friends use his lines all the time. You gotta watch it to GET IT!

Always a great show. Very funny
Always a great show. Very funny. Very politically incorrect and direct. Was lucky enough to meet him in 2014 for Notorious tour. Very nice guy.

Russel Peters at his best. A bite crude and rude, but funny!
I bought this for a friend after viewing it on a streaming media service. It incorporates some of Russell's best material although some of the classic "Someone's going to get a hurt real bad" routine is sadly missing. Some will complain that a few of the jokes and audience interactions are recycled, but considering he improvs his responses to the replies he gets real time is quite impressive. It's not that easy to think up something funny on your feet working with audience material. If you have thin skin, Russel's material might not be for you. You really have to be able to laugh at yourself and appreciate cultural differences and eccentricities to be able to appreciate the humour. Russel pokes fun at the taboo and PC things which aren't meant to be hurtful, but to allow one to laugh with others. Highly recommended.
