These socks are by far the best I've had. In fact, I'm still buying pairs 6 months later, trying to get enough to have for an entire week. They make my legs feel very good and quite energized. I have a great deal of trouble with swelling in my feet and ankles, especially the left and these keep the swelling down better than any of the other brands. I have wear a size 10 wide in shoe and have large calves. The medium large fit well....something I was very concerned about because I've generally needed large/extra large in other brands. I only wish they made them toeless. They are pretty firm so I find them a challenge to put on but not since I found a sock aid [[ASIN:B00U9TWCXU RMS Deluxe Sock Aid with Foam Handles]. It works wonderfully with the socks. Just take a few minutes, line the plus sign up with the black heel mark on the back of the sock aid and voila and pull. Before careful not to force it too hard so you don't break the heavy duty plastic sock aid ... a problem I have not encountered.. I have getting the socks on down to such a science now I have the socks on in a couple of minutes. Definitely invest in this dynamic duo.

I love these socks. They are not very expensive. I have some support stockings ordered by my doctor ae $70 plus. The colors are great.

These are incredibly cute and comfortable, though they're just a tiny bit on the large side for me. I'm a women's size 8 so ordered a medium/large, but they're just a bit loose in the foot. Not enough to really bother me, but next time I'll order a small/medium. The leg portion fits great though - I'm 5'4" and they come up exactly to the crease of my knee. I have slightly chunky calves, so I was surprised that these didn't feel tighter, but they're clearly working because I notice a huge difference when I wear them.I was told to wear this brand specifically by my neurologist for my POTS and chronic headaches. They help more than I would have even imagined with my energy and stamina. When I wear these I'm able to exercise without headaches or fatigue, which has made a big difference in my quality of life. I also used to get woozy, light-headed, and spacey after exercise or even walking more than a few minutes, and I don't have that issue any more as long as I wear these. I also love this pattern and really enjoy the way they look on me.The only reason I'm deducting a star is that these socks don't seem incredibly durable. I've worn them probably about 15 times so far (just for walking around a little and some light workouts), and they're already showing signs of wear at the toes and ball of the foot (see photo). I've had many pairs of (non-compression) socks last for years without showing a single sign of wear and tear. However, it seems to be just the outer layer of the sock wearing, and hopefully the inner layer is thick enough to hold up. Assuming the sock doesn't get further worn out too quickly, I would definitely buy these again.

These are my favorite in style, color and fit and I have drawer full of Sockwell compression socks. I need firm compression socks which are actually firm. Some I have found are merely compression socks regardless of their description but won't hold up for a full day. Others are firm but cut off the circulation at the knee. These hold up but fulfill their mission in comfort. But, although I have 2 pairs of this particular pair that have performed admirably, I have found differences in firmness in two colors of other styles in the past. I also like that a lot of their styles have a lot of wool and are not completely made of manufactured fiber. The wool breathes and prevents my feet from getting too hot and sweaty over the course of the day and I wear them all year round. I have found Sockwell brand compression socks to be the most comfortable especially with respect to the toe seam and the band below the knee. With that caveat in mind, I would still recommend these to anyone wanting to try a compression sock for the first time. Depending on how often you wear a pair, you will need to replace them every 6mo to a year to maintain the firmness. By the way, I rarely post comments and no one paid me or even offered me a review pair. I paid for each and every pair I own albeit I watch faithfully for them to be on sale.

Great fit.....does the job by snugging the leg, knee cap, but not too tight or too loose. I have a large calf so ordered the XXL....perfect fit. wider at the top of the sock but a good bottom stretch to pull the sock up.The material is the right thickness, good hold. My legs feel much better when I wear the socks, vs not wearing them. I have a lot of veins on the legs, nothing serious, but sometimes the legs feel odd, and by putting the socks on, the legs feel normal.Highly recommended.....
