I was not sure whether these socks would be OK as I was looking for 100% wool but I took a chance and ordered them anyway. I am so glad I did. They are so thick, so warm and so comfortable. They fit really well and are perfect in the new boots I put on with them. I have rheumatoid arthritis and really have a problem with my feet, which get terribly painful. Sometimes it is extremely hard to walk because of the pain, especially in the balls of my feet, but I have worn my new boots with these lovely socks all day for the last 3 days and have not even had a small twinge. I've been trudging about in the rain and subsequent thick mud, usually a killer for people with RA, and have been fine, so warm and comfortable in these socks. It has been bliss. I am so impressed with them I have just ordered another set.This is an update: As I said, I ordered another pair of these beautiful socks but this time I chose the pink, green etc. They arrived today and sadly are not nearly as fluffy feeling as the original pair. They feel more like thick cotton socks. However, they are still lovely socks and I have decided to keep them and reorder them in the original colour that I chose. One can never be too rich, too thin or have too many socks! I am not sure if this is a one-off in terms of fluffiness v cotton feel but I thought it was fair to warn people that this may be the case. Still soft and warm, still 5 stars and still worth buying - and still more arriving tomorrow. Its a good job I love them.

This is the second time I have purchased these as they are very comfy and they are thick enough to wear with wellies. I have had the first lot for about a year and they are still fine.

Love these socks! Love the muted colours, very wintry.Perfect thickness to wear with boots and not feel too tight.They're also nice and warm, can wear with sneakers and feet stay warm.Only reason I gave a four star is that I haven't yet washed them so not sure what the result will be

The socks are fine. They're thick, warm, a decent/nice fabric, and look like they'll last. However I got the size 4-7, and I'm a 6.5, so these should have been perfect and certain not too big. But too big they are. I missed the return period so, I don't know, maybe I can shrink them a little in a hot wash.It's annoying that socks and other attire is so often produced in multi-sizes or a one-size-fits all. They should make the size ranges smaller.

These socks are totally worth the money! They are exactly as pictured, and very thick. I wear safety boots for work and these socks make them really comfortable! I have about 4 packs, and will definitely order again!

These are very nice socks. Very comfortable and warm. They do bobble a bit after washing, hence 4 stars instead of 5.
