Q: What size is a medium in boys size underwear... I’m looking fir a boys size 12

I'm 5'4' & a half & 112lbs and the large fits me (a bit snugger than I wanted but nevertheless. Hopefully this gives you some height & weight perspective to go on. A medium might fit if your son is a smaller 12 year old (I'm 24). The packaging says Medium fits 68-95lbs & waist sizes 24.5-26.5 inches. Large is 95-120lbs (though not everyone is shaped the same & these are WIDE weight ranges listed) with waist sizes 26.5-29.5 inches. If he's in the upper 1/3 - 1/2 of that weight range but isn't really skinny I'd recommend a size up (unless he likes them snug … they're still comfortable except I just found the fly to not be wide enough to open comfortably at that level of smugness … but a 12year old may not… depends on him).

Q: Are these boxers cotton or like rayon or microfiber material?

Softer material. Can’t remember exactly but they weren’t cotton.
