I make lots of sour dough bread and this attachment does not mix ingredients as expected. Will try using one with side scraper at first and then switch to dough hook for “kneading”

So I am replacing a factory dough hook for my 25 year old 4.5 qt tilt head KitchenAid stand mixer. The old dough hook just snapped in half one day. This replacement appears to be made of aluminum that has a simular white gloss coating. The shift of the hook itself was not fully smoothed where it joins the disk guard at the top,, but I'm not removing the coating to fix the issue.

I am replacing a dough beater I had given away a few years ago. Plan to bake bread.

I had no clue where my dough hook went...a catastrophe for a person who makes homemade bread a lot. Not only is a perfect replacement it was SO reasonable. It came the next day.

This hook works very well with our kitchenaid mixer.

This product says it fits my mixer. My model # is on the list but upon receiving, it is quite evident that it will not fit my KSM5 kitchen aid mixer. It is not long enough to reach the bottom of the bowl. Buyer beware! It looks like a very nicely made product, just not for me.

Product arrived a week late and the packaging was destroyed. Used once and can already see wear.

Arrived within days when no retailer had one in stock. Works great with my Kitchen Aid
