I don't think it would be subject to vibration unless your USB is damaged causing it to fit loosely. **Q: Would this work on an imac 2011, ios 10.03? do i need to download anything to make it work?** A: should work with it **Q: Formatting 512gb drive to exfat- what allocation unit size? comes set on "128k" but options from 32k to 32,768k (using for video files 1gb- 4 + gb)?** A: Don't know any of that.
