So, If you are expecting the same quality out of these you would get from Alpine R types or JL's you will be disappointed. With that said. These aren't bad little speakers. They look basic. Which made me nervous at first. They have 4 mounting tabs which can be trimmed off. They also have an additional 3 holes for alternate installation, such as my Honda. They went in really easy. The holes lined up perfectly. They come with pre-terminated wires for splicing into factory wires. I prefer factor plug adapters. They also come with door clips and screws if need be. I can already tell there will be a break-in period, as is for most speakers. I ran a frequency test on them for bass. You can google " Subwoofer Frequency Test " and get multiple results. The test plays frequencies from high to low starting at 100hz and slowly reduces by 5hz every 3 seconds. The cut-off point for these speakers, without break-in and on a factory head unit, was 55hz. Great for a solid mid-bass sound. Mids are clear. Highs aren't too bright. I think with a small 100 watt per channel rms amplifier these would sound amazing. Overall, given the cost, I am very happy.

Used in the rebuild of a 2001 Nissan Xterra.

Installed it in my 2018 accord. Needed special adapter to fit. The one with the package doesn’t fit in Honda. Also needed Metra speaker Harness for clean install without cutting wires.Seems to have a wide staged sound with good clarity, separation and decent bass with the factory stereo. Compared to stock speakers, I’d say audio improved by 80% after EQ tweak in Spotify and Dolby in Apple Music. Would recommend for out of the box no frill audio upgrade.

For the price of the pair, they sound amazing!I don't listen rap or anything similar to that.I list to Red Hot Chillie Peppers, Sublime, and etc. The bass is amazing and while the mids and highs are very clear.If you're looking for an all around speaker set that does it all, this is it.Note - these are not subwoofers. So the complaints and 2 star reviews were the bass is terrible, you can't expect that kind of performance from any door speaker. And with any speaker, when you crank up the bass, it will distort.These are great speakers for the price.

I did have to modify the stock plastic mounting buckets but once that was done (easy to do), worked great. Sound great.

Bought these speakers and bought a new pioneer head unit (DEH-X8700BS) for my wife's car and i am very happy with them. I consider myself an audiophile but i know exactly what to expect from $50 speakers and these sound like $80 speakers. Speakers like these have a high sensitivity so they are pretty much made to be driven off head unit power which makes them sound very clear and plenty loud compared to factory speakers so they are great in these areas. Now DONT expect any serious bass from these speakers unless u go ahead and buy an external amp for them in which case i would just get a small subwoofer. I recently ordered the matching 6x9 set for these speakers and got a small subwoofer and my wife's car literally sounds like it has a $1000 audio system.

I installed these speakers into the doors of my project Nissan Pickup, simultaneously with a Pioneer DEH-150MP head unit. I don't drive the pickup often and usually don't turn up the volume much, so they were pretty good for the price.However, they didn't last through the very first time I turned up the volume. Seriously, the DEH-150MP killed these speakers the very first time I turned the knob past 75% volume. Now the speakers buzz like crazy any time the bass hits, and they'll have to be replaced.I'm gonna recommend that if you want to go loud, it's probably worth spending a bit more cash for a nicer set of speakers.

I say be careful because these 3 ways will eat voltage! You are running power to a woofer, mid-range and tweeter, not just a single factory woofer. Do not use with factory radios. High output aftermarket stereos might be able to power them. They will require an external amp to power, but you'll be glad you did.These woofers won't produce bass that will rumble your car because of the excursion limit of a shallow 6.5 inch speaker, but the bass will be tight and clear. The mid-range will fill out instruments well and the tweeter has rich highs. For the price you can't go wrong.I used a Sony GS620BT (with 5 volt pre-amps: important), Clarion APA450 @ 50Wx4 RMS with Stinger 8000 series 4 channel RCAs, which I highly recommend.Again, if you are running a factory radio or regular power aftermarket, find a pair of high sensitivity or lower ohm 2 ways, these aren't for you.

Ok so just installed these on a factory fitted radio on a ford transit custom and the sound quality has improved 100% great sound had to put some dampening in door panels but works a treat

Bocinas excelentes se escucha muy padre y la voz muy clara. No tiene los super bajos pero por el precio muy buena calidad. Sobre todo si sustituyes las bocinas de agencia por estas. La diferencia es abismal una vez que las escuchas por primera vez. Yo cambie mis bocinas originales de un sentra advance 2014 por estas porque una de ellas se había roto. Despues de pagar 150 pesos por la instalación y de escucharlas ahora pienso en cambiar también las traseras por unas tambien pioneer de 3 vias pero 6 x 9.
