Hard to grow, a dissapointment
I have tried and tried to grow coneflowers with no success. I planted carefully and have watered consistently, but so far no plants. They must be extremely slow to germinate or else I have yet another crop failure.UPDATE 2021: When clearing the flower bed for spring, I noticed some small plants growing and recognized them as the coneflowers I planted last year. So excited! I don't know why they came up a year later unless I planted them too late in the season last year. I can't wait for them to grow and bloom! Changing my rating to 5 stars!
