General Hydroponics Rapid Rooter, Starter Plug for Seeds or Cuttings, Great for Soil or Hydroponics Growing System, 50 Plugs

The absolute best soil pod I have tried and am buying again! Guaranteed plant growth as long as the seed is good. I used after germinating to ensure plant grew. I have had to try to use other ones so I don’t use all of these and wasted seeds on the other types of soil sponge. Love these!!!

These are great only thing was had 47.5 in package instead of the 50 stated.

You get so many for the money and there already fortified for your seeds. Wouldn't recommend useing any myco powder until you transplant.

I really like these plugs. They are really useful for the push out seed trays. The only problem is that for my application, using them in my Lettuce Grow Farmstand, they are less than ideal. They are what I would call "soft" square plugs. The corners are tapered, which isn't a problem. However, they sit too high in the Farmstand's cup, which basically removes all your choices to prevent algae build up (usually one of three choices: etsy 3d printed cup covers, top off with some aluminum foil, or top off with hydroton).

Work the same as the root riot for a way better price can't go wrong there

I use these in my Lettuce Grow with great success. I have tried several other seed starter plugs in the past but i keep coming back to these. They are a touch more expensive that some other brands but these seed starters do not mold, nor to they attract nearly as many fruit flies as some other products i have used. I assumes that most hydroponic systems have different sizes so i cannot speak to that but for my purposes theses are the best!I keep the remainders inteh same bag they were shipped in and I have never had issues with mold anything like that. I can can attest that I store them in a greenhouse and in my garage both of which can get stuffy and humid, and i still can rely on them even after opening the package for a year or even two. Great product.
