My dogs favorite
My 7 month old german shepherd LOVES these. They are his favorite and they keep him busy for a while. I don't personally love the price though. They have a smell but it's not overwhelming. I've tried another brand that was slightly cheaper and my dog didn't care for them at all. He's not picky by any means but he goes crazy for these. He'll even freak out anytime I get an Amazon package bc he thinks it's more of these. Definitely recommend.

Excellent choice better price.
Better than expected. I usually spend 8-12 dollars each for similar product at petco. It was getting highly expensive so I figured I'd give these a go. My dog loves them. I was so excited when they came today I didn't wait for him to finish the old one. He really likes them. If you have a finicky chewer these are great! For those of you that wonder these are the 5"-6" he won't chew smaller. He can chew through one in about 4 hours if left to do so. He is a heavy chewer. Splitting the braids he ends up with 2-3inch pieces after a 4 hour chew session. 5-6" is great for experienced chewers of small breed(7-10lbs) and best for pups between 12-40 lbs. The tiny ones are a good starting place for very small dogs with no experience chewing or limited in range of motion(puppies or teacup). This product is cleaned, dried, and braided bull penis(pizzle). It is the safest form of "bone" you can give to your dogs. Rawhide can cause digestive issues and in general isn't good for oral hygiene. The bully sticks are fully digestible and provide hours of entertainment. In my opinion(that of someone purchasing these products for years) Bully sticks are preferable to most dogs, 12 inch sticks are best for larger dogs between 60-120 lbs. Larger dogs would need a few of these to satisfy their chewing urges. If you don't like the smell that comes from the non-deodorized version they come deodorized. I do however think you will disappoint your pooch... it's a part of the chewing experience.

Good, but OMG SO STINKY, suggest another brand.
I love the idea of these bully sticks. As a pet parent who cares deeply about what my dogs eat, I don't mind paying a little more for wholesome food and treats. I bought my dogs a bully stick from the local Petco store, and they absolutely loved it! I thought when I found these, what a fantastic deal! Much cheaper than buying them individually from the local Pet place. My dogs loved them, no question about that. If you asked my dogs, they'd say 5 stars and give me another!! For me I just can not. The Pros: 1. They are all natural 2. For my 12 week old labrador retriever puppy this treat last a long time. 3. No added homrones, preservatives, chemicals: again all natural. 4. They are safe and not going to harm my dogs. 5. My dogs love them. The Cons: 1. The reason I did not give them 5 stars is because OMG do they stink! I stopped buying cow hooves for the same reason. Yes my dogs love them, but they reek in my house! Not an inside treat! I was sitting on my couch reading my book and my puppy was in here crate next to the couch eating it and I couldn't stand the smell. I have sever allergies so my nose isn't that great. So if it bothers me and I can smell it, than it REALLY is stinky!! I am not sure what makes them stink so bad and why the ones you buy at Petco don't. The brand I got from Petco was RedBarn, and they too are all natural, processed without artificial ingredients, preservatives, or colors, and are low in odor; I couldn't smell them unless I stuck them close to my nose. 2. My 1 year old labrador retriever can get through one in a matter of minutes. So I am not sure eating through this so fast is helping his teeth or worth the money.

Delicious Bone!!!
Strong texture, the taste and smell seems to be amazing because my little 6 lb Tootsie Roll loves it!! She hasn’t stop chewing on it since I received the delivery. We are going over 1 hours right now since it was delivered. I believe she will have a couple weeks of durability with this chewable bone. She’s so happy!! Thank you so much for the fast delivery and thank you very much to NatureGnaws for coming up with this amazing bone. By the way the bones don’t have a strong odor at all. I read some of the reviews saying it smells terrible. That’s a lie. I almost didn’t get them because of that.

Not for Seriously Aggressive Chewers
Our 2-year English Bullldog loves these. I only gave three stars because they are advertised as "long lasting for aggressive chewer". She has one of these completely obliterated within 1 hour, so for us, we won't be buying again.

Great product and a decent value
Both of my dogs love these bully sticks. I started out buying the 5-6" ones and realized that they were going through them quickly. Also, my one dog gets down to the last two inches of it and then swallows it whole. I try to keep an eye on her because the last thing I need is her choking. The 11-12" sticks are the exact same as the 5-6" ones - just longer. I think they get more chew out of the longer ones (I'm not throwing away as many small pieces) and they are priced better than the 5-6" ones when you look at price/count. By the way, my dogs are 9 and 17 pounds, and they both go to town on the long ones. I just take them away when they are a little less than half done because I don't want them to overdo it. I recently bought another brand. I was wanting to see a couple of things: (1) what the size was of the other ones (they were both 11-12", but I was not sure how wide they were); and (2) whether they liked them and/or took them longer to eat. It's all about having a healthy treat at a reasonable price and, yes, these are expensive. So, here are the results of my experiment: (1) basically the same size; (2) they don't like them as much. I do periodically see them chewing on them (which is good because they were almost double the price - basically five bully sticks that were the same price as the Nature Gnaws package with ten). I guess I can look at it this way...since they are not eating the other ones, they are lasting longer. Haha. But that's not why be buy these things - for us to waste our money products they don't enjoy. I know some folks have commented that they stink. There is definitely a smell to them (as there was for the other brand), but it wasn't terrible. My dogs eat them in the house and they eat them outside. Doesn't bother me either way. I will say that sometimes when I take it away from them and put it on the bathroom counter and forget...I will be at the sink and think...what is that smell? Then I see the half-chewed bully stick. I just chuckle. It's not bad unless you are hyper-sensitive to smell. But then I can't imagine most dog owners are hyper-sensitive to smells because dogs can be...well...smelly!!! :)

My Dog Loves These!
We chose to buy these raw hide free chew sticks for our now two year old chi-mix and he loves them! They are braided and my dog has learned to get them apart into three separate strips in record time. So, for him, it's like he hit the jackpot! Three! But seriously, my dog loves these things. They keep him busy and are good for his dental health. They do have a slighlty gross smell when wet from dog saliva. I only know this because one was left right next to my face one morning while I was still in bed sleeping. I woke up wondering what that awful smell was! I give these an A++ and highly reccomend. Just don't get too close to a freshly chewed stick until it dries.

Great treats with poor sizing consistency
My dogs enjoy these and they keep them busy for a while, which is great. But for the price you’d expect a little more consistency in the product - 2 of the 6 sticks were about half sized. See pic for comparison.
