Love this travel iron!
I purchased this travel iron for a trip to Spain and Italy. It does NOT come with a converter plug so you must purchase a converter in order to use this in other countries. Besides the fact that it needs a converter plug to work, it is a GREAT little iron. I didn’t want to mess with distilled water and a liquid mess in my luggage so I didn’t use a steamer or the steamer feature of the iron but this iron worked beautifully dry. It heats up quickly and is easy to use without an ironing board which is not always available when traveling. It is very lightweight and takes up very little space in luggage. I highly recommend this product.

Worked perfectly in Italy!
I used this on a June 2024 trip to Italy. Plugged it into an adapter plug to fit Italian outlets and made sure the voltage was on 220V (located on base of iron). I found the water storage lid to be a bit of a pain to secure, so I used a small spray water bottle and then the hot iron to help create steam for deep creases. However, the steam function on the iron worked well. The iron took up little space in my luggage and was especially great for linen pieces and cotton poplin, which are the best fabrics for the heat and humidity of an Italian summer. I 100% recommend!

Sweet little workhorse, gentle for arthritic hands!
I spend 2 to 5 hours a day sewing masks. When arthritis attacked my hands it became quite painful to work beyond an hour using my old trusty tailoring iron that I’ve used for years and years, but when I bought this little travel iron, once again I could sew as many hours a day as I wanted/needed to. I haven’t weighed it but it isn’t any heavier than my cell phone, and the handle is configured so I don’t even have to grip it like a teakettle (as I do to hold the big one) but can hook it with 2 fingers if I want. The plate is shaped exactly the same as the shape of the masks, and being small, it fits into the crannies where the large iron doesn’t. The 2nd photo shows you the size difference in the two irons.I love this little iron! I don’t mind that I have to refill it often as the water vessel doesn’t hold much, it provides ample steam when I want it. And the range of heat is just as good as the big iron. The only caveat is something I read about in the reviews before I bought it, that’s the short life. I know it’s meant as a travel iron, not to be used 2 to 5 hours a day, 7 days a week, and I was prepared to replace it in about a year, but no, it only lasted 3 months and 12 days after delivery - 2 months and 13 days after the return deadline. This morning it was totally unresponsive. So today, after making one mask using the big, 20 lb iron, I bit the bullet and ordered another sweet little workhorse. At this price I'll just consider it a subscription item that makes it possible for me to keep up the pace making my masks.

Good deal!
I just got this, so I may revise my review in the future, but I tried it and it seems great. I think the reviewer who couldn't change the voltage didn't read the instructions - it's super simple! You just have to stick something in there like the tip of a pen or a the tip of a metal nail file. Capacity isn't huge, and you can only steam while holding it horizontally, not vertically - which is different - but it heats up quickly and the steam is good. The cost was a lot less than other dual voltage steamers, and it's nice and small as a travel steamer should be.

Perfect little iron for my little fabric pieces
Heats up quickly, steam function works great, and it just fits the size of the fabric pieces I'm working with. One oddball thing: the tiny container provided for pouring water into the reservoir has a mark on it that's WAY too high for how much the reservoir actually holds. I used it the first time out, and water poured out the very front of the top of the iron (you turn the iron vertically, pointed end down for filling). The iron was undamaged by this, though.Love the convenience of this little thing!

Good for travel, but not daily
This iron is very small, great for travel, but if you’re looking to iron heavier fabrics like jeans, get a heavy duty iron. This iron doesn’t get hot enough for thick materials like high quality denim. However, I like packing in my suitcase!

Worked just as described
Went to Spain. Needed something. Came across this bad boy. Worked just as described. Although small it does the trick. My only complaint is the switch to go from 110 to 240, its like TINY and one needs something small to get in there to slide the switch. Then when you slide the switch or you think you slid it, you cant tell if it moved or not bc its so small AND there is no indicator telling you that the switch has moved. How hard would it had been to make it like a real, normal switch to eliminate n e doubts. And of course bc this item is small, the water reservoir is also small, but honestly dont need that much water to complete an ironing session. Please note, this is more of an iron with a steam feature vs a true steamer. And bc its really an iron, it will take a tad longer to iron vs normal size. I wanted a steamer but this honestly worked mobetter for me. You will need your own adapter for overseas use. This makes for an awesome travel iron/steamer. And as a bonus, i was able to find a small carry case for my iron so now i travel like a boss with my steamer and case!! I recommend and i would buy again.

Does Not Work
Disappointing, did not even heat up enough to dry the water that came out of the vents! I would love to return this - I could not use it at all!

Muy práctica
Me gustó mucho.
