I think these are mint flavored, and while I don't prefer unknown chemicals or ingredients, it is pleasant, and pretty much absent after one or two uses and may be perfectly harmless. The string holds up so very sell, I'm very happy with that feature and it's one strand , unlike the other brand that separated right away and would get hung up , where these do not do that at all. I did not believe the claim that the floss thread would not break, but these are amazing dental floss picks. They actually are effective, easy to keep in the bag and reach for them when needed, and they taste great. Will be regularly keeping these stocked as the floss you have to keep between your fingers hurts my fingers so badly, and these have a tongue scraper on them and are wonderful.

Best flossers for tight teeth! My whole family uses them. They work great for all ages and really get in between all of the tight areas. Some of the flossers do break but not very often. I have purchased them for years!
