The best is right here!
After day and days of searching for duet scenes that are "age appropriate" for teens, I was reminded that a former student and friend Michael Moore had published this book. It it not only one of the few books focused on duet scenes for teens, but it is also extraordinarily well written and formated in a very user-friendly fashion. Cheers to Michael Moore who saw a need and expertly filled it!

Great Resource for First-Year Drama Students!
I bought these to use with my first-year drama students! They are a great resource for quick-to-memorize scenes! Highly recommended for students who are just exploring their dramatic side!

This was great for my middle school classes
This was great for my middle school classes. Easy to learn and more relatable than many other duet books. But, some contents are not appropriate for middle school.... be choosy.

Some subjects for older teens
Teen subject matter... not for younger teens per say...

Silly and short
Stick to the classics: these are original, short, scenes, with very little life or conflict. Well meaning but cliche with no challenge for young actors.

Useful but very limited and often trite
It is very handy when teaching acting to teenagers to have a book with very, very short scenes. Of these 100 scenes, though, only about 30 of them rise above trite. The usable ones are mildly amusing -- very mildly -- but will do. Since all scenes are written by the author, they mostly have a similar, gentle, old-fashioned 1950s "Leave It To Beaver" kind of tone. For the most part, people don't actually talk like this. But, as I said, some of them will (barely) do for teaching purposes.
