The only tea I ever drank was Lipton's sweet tea and years ago I switched to water with my meals. I recently tried the Yerba Mate at a Yellow Deli restaurant. Wow! Is all I can say! It's excellent straight, good with a little honey, and a drizzle of milk too. Our waiter told us it helps his energy levels, and he has drunk it for twenty years. I bought a couple boxes at restaurant and ordered more from Amazon. I even bought leaf type, tea infuser, and got the French press out. It may offer some health benefits too. My opinion it's as good as my morning cup of coffee. Try It

The tea is the correct product I was looking for. I love the yerba mate green. It has a little kick. For me not too much. And it tastes really good to me as well. Enjoy!

I love their teas and drink it daily. Little pricy so when it’s on sale I stock up. Doesn’t have that grassy earthy taste of real Yerba mate which I like better hopefully has the same benefits.

As some other reviews have mentioned the taste/smell is kinda unique (sorta like fresh cut grass), but I find it to be really smooth and enjoyable.

Tastes better with added flavors

NOT SMOKED I had asked a question about whether this product is smoked and people gave some generous answers (thank you), but also I'd like to comment and leave a review. First of all, the product arrived very quickly. Next, as mentioned, the product is not smoked, and it says that on the package. Instead, they use a "low heat" method to dry the mate leaves. This results in a much fresher, greener leaf, and I can really taste that difference from other smoked brands I've tried. This one has a taste to it like a fresh grass, with the characteristic yerba mate "saltiness" tinge to it that I like. On the other hand, I've noticed that the non-smoked varieties I've tried, including this one, don't result in much of a "buzz" than the smoked varieties. I drink mate primarily for the slight buzz I get and caffeine awakening feel. I've noticed that the smoked varieties yield a tea-like concentration in your buzz (beta waves = concentration), while the non-smoked ones yield a more spacey, meditative buzz where you just stop and your perception kind of widens (alpha waves). But this is a great, great product, 5 stars. If they made it in bulk tea bags (like 75 bags in a box), I'd buy that too. Thanks!

Its hard to find good yerba mate in Canada it seems. I like Guayaki brand but its too expensive. This stuff has a similiar taste and effect for cheaper.

Unlike other brands, this one does nothing for my energy and mood. It tastes nice though and is no doubt still healthy.

Love this tea and arrived promptly and in perfect condition

I do accept the health claims of this product I really do, but I still don't like the taste so I have to treat it as medicine.
